The new All That Remains leaked. It's very melodic, pretty catchy... I definitely don't dislike it but I'm not sure how much I like it. Anyone else given it a listen?

It's on most of the major blogspots by now I think. It really is the same All That Remains, just more melodic, a little less heavy I guess too - not to say they were overly heavy to begin with.

It's worth a listen at least though.

By the two/three tracks they released before, it sounded like the music was upped since The Fall of Ideals, but the vocals fu[i]c[/i]king sucked, and that's all I really cared about while listening to The Fall. Might as well get the new album anyway.

it has a fast intro with doublebass, clean vocals on the chorus, and then a solo from Oli

that's every song

i like the new All That Remains. its catchy, but not as good as their last album i think. its a good metalcore album that ive been looking for lately

Yeah its pretty neat, I like doing that kind of thing too.

Listened to the new All That Remains and its ok. It's really watered down, even compared to the old stuff. I don't like what he is doing with his vocals now, they are just generic now.

Metalcore is quite profitable now tho' lads.

If you play a more commercial strand of the genre theres quite a lot of money to be made.

The new ATR is solid I guess. Extremely radio friendly but it's no more "catchy" than the last one, the hooks just arent as gloomy and boring. The last song sounds like a Backstreet Boys song though.

If August Burns Red were a bit less one-dimensional, they'd be awesome. They are extremely musically talented, but a lot of their songs end up sounding the same.
