I wanted to work in the back toating **** around but they have me bagging groceries.

its money...I just wish I didnt have it spent already
I have been really thinking of getting a different six string bass. I love the way that mine plays and sounds, but I can not stand the neck dive on it.

150 shipped for a set of NJ4's.

Definately not a bad deal.

PaulSimonon 07-13-2006 08:22 PM

My favorite meal was on my birthday and it was a giant lobster and I dug into it and ate and ate and ate!

I'm pissed. Me and my brother had this sweet Mario game when we were kids, and now I can't remember the name of it. I can't even really describe it.

hellonearth07 07-13-2006 09:02 PM

was it the original super mario?

nicatterberry 07-13-2006 09:03 PM

I don't think so, but I may have found it.

sixner 07-13-2006 09:08 PM

Oh Pickles don't have a valid opinion.

And It's actually 2 in the arvo but I just woke up.

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 09:18 PM

I've got a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I gave a begginer a breakdown of what gear he could get for $1000USD. :)

good rats 07-13-2006 09:23 PM

Aha. What did you reccomend?

I love talking about gear to my kinda newb at bass friend. He has all this money so I get to give him advice on what and what he shouldn't try/buy.

sixner 07-13-2006 09:32 PM

i love that too. ive been helpin my friend Travis with stuff. we meet up at guitar center and i'll show him a few things for him to practice and we'll talk about some of the gear n' such... its fun

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 09:36 PM

Didn't go too in depth, just the basics. Jazz, Precision, try out a lot of used stuff, like warwicks and yammy's. For amps, ashdown, line 6 and more used stuff, ampegs and gk. If I was starting out, I'd like a precision and an ashdown. :thumb: But it's kinda nice, living through their budget.

good rats 07-13-2006 09:53 PM

I always tell my friend to look used before anything else. You can find some great stuff.

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 09:56 PM

He's a big metal guy, so I revised my suggestions. JP's OLP with an ashdown MAG 115 with and avatar 2x10 on top. I'm just not sure if he should go magnet or neo. Whatcha think?

nicatterberry 07-13-2006 09:58 PM

Neo will be lighter and louder, but I think it loses bottom end compared the the Delta.

PaulSimonon 07-13-2006 10:01 PM

I don't think they loose bottom end, but I know that there's a distinct low-mid boosting effect by neomydium magnets in speakers, so be aware of that.

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 10:01 PM

But if he's playing metal he'll need better midrange response to cut through, eh? Plus there's a 1x15 figured into the equation as well. With JP's cracked out OLP he should be set for anything. Hell, if I had the cash, I'd buy that setup. Hmmm. . .

irishslappop 07-13-2006 10:20 PM

i got the last post in the sade thread! woohoo!

User Name 07-13-2006 10:24 PM

I feel another all nighter coming up.

PaulSimonon 07-13-2006 10:33 PM

Ahhhhhh this song won't leave me alone!

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 10:35 PM

What song is that? Could it be meccamputechture from the new mars volta album. :thumb:

PaulSimonon 07-13-2006 10:36 PM

Freeker by the Speaker- Keller Williams

Aerodyne 07-13-2006 11:02 PM

Sorry, I'm digging day of the baphomets. I think I might like the new tmv more than frances, but I don't think it's going to dethrone deloused. <alliteration
