I'm not really dissing them, I was only sharing my opinion...people get so offended these days. The main reason I said that was because I've got a friend who's completley obsessed with them and talks about them all the time, it gets annoying after a while.

So you could have said just a bit more then "Incubus is overrated...IMO.", that's completely pointless. People get so offended, because you just walk in out of nowhere and say stupid ****.

Fast Incubus [I]really[/I] does it for me. Sick Sad Little World and ACLOTM are prime examples. And Smile Lines. Yay for sentimental songs that I associate with my ex-gf.

You guys take things too far, and are all too eager for an arguement. I didn't say "lol ur band sux" I don't talk like that. I said "Incubus is overrated in my opinion". I didn't mean to say (type) it in a "Incubus is overrated!", I meant "I think Incubus is overrated.." and I explained that it was a pretty pointless post and the reason I did it was because my friend has been pissing me off lately about them. I'm sorry if I offended you all so greatly, please accept my apology, or deal with it.

But we are not taking things too far. We have not threatened you with spam attacks or "my one hacker friend". The fact is that for all intents and purposes you came into a conversation about a band just to say "they suck" without giving any valid reason or motivation for this.

As it stands right now, your opinion on Incubus is completely invalid as the only reason you've given for it thus far is that your friend is annoying.

All we want is for people [I]not[/I] to head into band threads and slag said bands off without proper reason. What you did can almost be considered spam.

But I mentioned early that I admit it is a stupid and pointless post anyways, and provided the reason for it was because of my friend pissing me off, I was actually talking to them at the moment that I made that post, and that is probably what had driven me to doing it. i know im a lil late on this...but overrated by whom?
all the magazines i have read hardly mention incubus
they hardly get cover issues anymore
their videos dont get too much play (well i dont know about that cause i dont watch MTV or anything like that)

the only people that would overrate them is their fans and thats what FANS are supposed to do.

but otherwise they arnt very overrated at all

they also have new songs posted on their myspace.

Where did you get them? I don't want to hear the new stuff unless it's high-quality and downloadable.

Yes he will, and he did. Ben is now the bassist in the band that Dirk was the bassist in. Thus Ben has replaced Dirk.

I think Ben Kenney is really good, although i do still prefer Alex Katunich!

I thought Anna Molly at first sounded slightly more main stream than thier other material, which i was slightly disappointed at because I always liked thier originality, However the interlude is AMAZING!!! and the song does get better the more you listen to it!!
