Isn't that the same sort of deal with EITS? The recordings are meh, but the shows are killer.

I'm listening to are you there right now, and it certainly is anything to exciting. It isn't bad, it is just boring at times. EITS > Mono IMO.

I like them better than EITS, but they have a tendency to make absolutely tremendous buildups in their crescendos and then have it fall entirely flat.

Mono have some really cool songs but a lot of the other material is really boring.

Mono at it's worst is very boring, uninspired stuff, but Mono at it's best is real good stuff.

I agree 100%. I don't see what is so bad about EITS though.

EITS aren't the best, but they aren't nearly as bad as everyone claims they are.

Listening to both halves of The Galilean Sattelites at the same time has improved my liking of it by 340%.

I don't find EITS boring much. Granted their are parts in certain songs that get boring but I generally find their music to be pretty interesting all the way through. Mayb I'm just a post rock nub though.
