I think Tom Morello would make a good comedian. Some of his interviews are just halarious.

Ef- That becomes clear in the article. :p

Now he'd be [B]too [/B]political.

And no, not everyone has the accent.

I know people at BU (which is good academically, but its students are annoying as hell), BC (fun school, actually), Emerson (liberal hippie school!), UMass-Amherst (not Boston, but bite me), Holy Cross (ditto).

For better or for worse, there really is no place in the country like Boston.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-12-2005 11:03 PM

I've been to Boston. I was maybe when I was 4 or something. The only thing I can remember is riding in one of those Barbi powerwheel things.

In what terms?

Don't get me wrong, I've been there, it's a great town, but I don't know what it has that New York or Chicago doesn't.

I dunno...it's hard to explain, you really have to live there to know.

When you're 25? Why wait? You should go out to school at BC or Emerson or somewhere like that.

Jake, madey: Please, let's not start this.

I've been thinking about going to BC, seeing as I've only heard good things about it. I'm trying not to go to college here [Southern CA].

EDIT: but, after college, I'd probably come back here, get a good job at some national company, then move to the East Coast [Beantown or New York], see if I like life over there as opposed to over here.

I haven't heard glowing reviews about BC, but I digress. The East Coast has a ton of good schools, though. I could type out a list from memory of all the schools who were interested in me, if you're interested.

If you have the time, sure.

One of the only schools I've been interested over here is ASU, but I hope emofag will be gone by the time I apply there. [jak kay zepfan]

NYU has always interested me. Tuition has always been in the way though. My old folks can't really afford $40,000 a year for 4 years, so forget MIT. Not that I would even get in there.

ATM 04-12-2005 11:38 PM

stfu, 14.

My older brother has been talking about all that college crap, and somehow it all interested me.

ATM 04-12-2005 11:40 PM

I didn't even think about college until the second half of senior year, then again I am at community college, so don't follow my footsteps :)

Kurtz 04-12-2005 11:41 PM

Go figure.

You're going to music school later if memory serves me right, correct?

Art/music school. I want to do both, maybe make films.

Ray: I may be up in MA this summer. We should hang out.

Meh, to be honest those schools will accept you if they think you can pay them. Admission difficulty is overrated while having money is underrated. Funny how all thos Ivy schools require a FAFSA with your application or else it's voided eh? /is bitter about his choice school being ~41k too much per year

1) where?
2) when?

ATM 04-12-2005 11:47 PM

I am thinking about staying with my uncle on Marthas Vineyard for a month to help me get a portfolio together for school (he is an art teacher). But I don't see why I couldn't stop by the Cape for a few days.

When?

Efil: No problem. The East Coast is a strong part of the country university-wise.

ATM 04-12-2005 11:50 PM

I don't really have an exact date in mind, but maybe sometime in June?

I bet Ray looks like this:

Yet they paid for my visit there and those sort of recruitment things...

Cheap bastards :-/

EDIT: You mean...Ray's...white? O noes!
