Yeah, the first few views it kinda dissapoints, especially when I find out "Hey You" isn't on the actual movie (it's part of special features). But the more I watched it, the more I liked it, and now I love it.

It is great. It really increased my understanding of the album, and the whole story behind it.

I got the Saucerful of Secrets biography book. Now I have to read it!

It's very good. I was looking for that new Nick Mason book today (it is out already, isn't it?) but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Yup, I got it for Christmas. Pretty awesome book. I never thought Nick would be such a funny guy. :thumb:

Also, I asked for any Floyd album besides PATGOD, DSOTM and WYWH, since I have them. What did I get? The Final Cut. Twice. I'm going to take one back and exchange it for Animals or Atom Heart Mother.

Animals is a great album, probably my favorite after Dark Side. But I have it on vinyl, and do listen to it quite a bit. And for The Wall, I just don't care for it. I'm not a huge fan of Roger's taking over, and The Wall is basically his. (the reason why I was rather disapointed of the two Final Cuts.) My friend has it on DVD also, and I can watch it whenever I please.
Atom Heart Mother is quite under rated I think. Fat Old Sun is such a great song. Gilmour is great on it. It's interesting and experimental and I like it.

I am quite anxious to hear Atom Heart Mother, it'll be my next Floyd purchase. I heard it has some brass instruments on it though, sounds very experimental.

The title track to AHM is quite... interesting.

Fat Old Sun is quite a mellow track(even for Pink Floyd) but still good.

Atom Heart Mother is real good, i got the cd on my pc. But yea the first track has like a ochrestra playing through the whole song.

Obscured by Clouds is a great underrated CD, it's got some Meddle sounding stuff on it (not like Echoes though). I'd recommend it if you already have Meddle.

Yeah, quite annoying it is, and usually the Pink Floyd thread doesn't have much problems with it too... well if that lukins guy keeps that ideal posting up, he'll be banned so I'm hoping we won't have to deal with that again.

Well, I can give you my input and agree with you that Obscured by Clouds is a great and actually more obscured (hehe) album than others.. but I myself haven't heard Atom Heart Mother, but it seems to be talked about in here alot lately.

Turns out I got PATGOD and will be getting Pompeii in about a week. I have Meddle too, so I'll probably check out Obscured by Clouds.

I think Atom Heart Mother is good. Also, I just bought the Live in Pompeii DVD!!! *does happy dance* Now I'm going to order that David Gilmour t-shirt that the link was put up to awhile ago. Now, off to watch Pompeii. I'll give my input when I'm done with it.

I really hope I'm getting Pompeii soon. I get excited the more I think about it.

the Pompeii DVD is good, i got the Directors cut for christmas. although the directors cut isnt a big deal they just add some shots of landscapes and some kinda weak computer animation.
