Haha, the sad thing is I've done that :(

I'm going to start posting pictures of all the little kits I made. We took a 10 second video one time of a kit I made at work, and I put "chop suey" on the CD player and played along to the beginning of it...I did it perfect, and my buddy erased it. Prick.

I drum on everything, I drive people crazy. Rythym > Silence.

Bartender 09-08-2004 06:17 PM

Good mooooooooooooooorning, Vietnaaaaaaaaaam.

*cough*

Anyone else bored?

Per Ardua Ad Astra 09-08-2004 06:19 PM

Persuader is the best power metal band.ever.

Bartender 09-08-2004 06:25 PM

I still haven't managed to download anything by them.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 07:54 AM

Bump for the day.

Jeez...it should be criminal to be at work this early.

Bartender 09-09-2004 08:48 AM

What time is it?

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 08:49 AM

Now, its 10:45.

I hate mornings. I used to work 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. That was the best shift, ever.

Bartender 09-09-2004 08:52 AM

That sounds like a pretty good time to work. Were you on your own, or with others working the same shift?

psychoticreflex 09-09-2004 09:00 AM

here, it's about 15:56

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:01 AM

Back then, I was managing a skeleton crew of about 6 people.

It was great. I'd come in, lay out the work for them, turn on my tunes, and relax. Unfortunately, my crew was too good. We got so much done that there wasn't enough work to keep the shift going and they laid off everybody except me. Now I'm back on days, and I'm not a manager anymore :(

Just a normal data-entry peon.

Bartender 09-09-2004 09:22 AM

At least you didn't get laid off too. I'm surprised they didn't just reduce the night-shift to 2 or 3 people.

Anyway, what's going on now with anyone?

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:27 AM

They can't lay me off. With the exception of about 2 people, nobody knows this place as well as I do. My managers ask me how to do shyt.

But I digress.

Listening to Rust in Peace...and trying to decide what to eat for lunch. My nice Italian sandwich or something from the mall. Some Japanese food would be real nice right now.

Kingofdudes 09-09-2004 09:33 AM

I would rather be rotting at work, then at school right now.

gmoneyguy 09-09-2004 09:35 AM

yup work is some much better then school... you can actually talk, go on break smoke a cigarette etc.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:38 AM

I need to go back to school. Going to take audio engineering, hopefully produce some records.

Finished high school and never looked back. :upset:

Work isn't that much better, especially if you make peanuts. Go to school, get the education and the good job. You're better off in the long run. My friend makes a ton of cash (more then his parents) and he is younger then I am. It's depressing to see.

gmoneyguy 09-09-2004 09:39 AM

this is my last year of high school and i cant wait to get out

Bartender 09-09-2004 09:46 AM

I'm neither at school or work..just sitting at home. Got an item ending on eBay soon, looks like it's selling well.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:47 AM

What are you selling?

Bartender 09-09-2004 09:49 AM

My old MTG cards

Going for £230 at the moment, which is really good considering there's only 1100 of them. My friend sold his 4500 a few weeks ago and only got £180 or so.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:49 AM

MTG card? Don't know what that is.

Bartender 09-09-2004 09:51 AM

Magic: The Gathering.

Nerd ++, if you like.

Kingofdudes 09-09-2004 09:53 AM

I need to remember to sell my Diablo II account on Ebay, im sure ill make a few bucks.

gmoneyguy 09-09-2004 09:53 AM

lol when i was like 12 used to like the pokemon game..... im so ashamed

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 09:54 AM

OH. Those things. Nerd ++

I'm down with stuff like that, although I never bought any. Although I will say one thing...I went to high school with a guy who was a manager at McDonalds. He spent over $10,000 in one year on those things. Personally, I find that a bit excessive.

Hrm I have one of those too. I think its deactivated though. :/

I need to sell my copy of Star Wars Galaxies.

/me can't wait for the LOTR MMORPG.

Kingofdudes 09-09-2004 10:02 AM

Almost time to fail another physics test....

Well I never spent that much. A good few hundred pounds though.

The LOTR one looks good. The Matrix one looks less good.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 10:13 AM

Theres a matrix one?

Hrmm. How the hell is that going to work?

The problem with those things is the ridiculously high system requirements. The Star Wars one was already off the charts...I'm going to have to spend at least a grand updating my computer if I want to play these things. ****.

Bartender 09-09-2004 10:17 AM

The problem with the Matrix one is that everyone will make Neo. There's no variety of characters in the Matrix, really. LOTR on the other hand has huge variety, and just adapts to the idea more easily.

My computer's never been capable of playing MMORPGs, though I'm getting a new one for Uni, so maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to.

Paranoidd 09-09-2004 10:23 AM

No no, they won't be able to make Neo.

At least, with Star Wars galaxies (SWG) there were lots of mods. It was hard wired in the program that you couldn't make a charcter with the same name as a prominent character in the books/movies/comics, however if you tried to be clever with something like "Duke Skywalker", you'd be reported straight to a mod by nearly any character you meet. I got it right when it came out, so God knows how much they've improved it by now, but it was really buggy back then. I think I'll wait for the matrix one till they sort out the bugs. It looks kinda cool, but I always find gameplay in these things a little redundant.
