Hidden Treasures is just B-sides and rare tracks I think.
Angry Again is on it, as is the Duke Nukem theme I think..
Hidden Treasures is cover songs. It's pretty sweet, I especially like their cover of Paranoid. Nobody has answered my question about the bootleg concert. |
Who has heard the bootleg of their first ever concert with Kerry King?
Not me. |
Peace sells...
the only megadeth album i have is peace sells :upset:
but im planniong on getting rust in peace (due to advice from this thread :thumb: )
Ya you cant go wrong there.Thats Megadeth at there thrashing peak. When i first picked up Killing is my bus i really did'nt care for it that much(now it's one of my faves)Really Peace sells is the one that got me hooked when it came out in 86.When i heard "peace sells"and "wake up dead" for the first time i was amazed and the rest is Megadeth history they have been my fav for many years now. While rust has got to be there best display of pure musical talent and incredible lyrics you should also check out SO FAR SO GOOD as this album is ****in great(has a sound unlike any other) the whole album stomps gotta love Mary Jane,502,In my darkest hour, set the world afire...like i said the whole thing kicks @ss. |

I already posted this in the "other" catagory but this is where it needs to be.If anyone is interested i have an incredible 10 disc set of live one of a kind footage that was shot during the 1990 "RUST IN PEACE TOUR" it has been on tape for some time now just sitting around but has now found its way to dvd. This footage includes Dave and the band in the dressing room, onstage,in an airplane, motel room on so on(hours and hours of never before seen footage) any one that is interested leave me your contact info and i will send you the list which includes everything on the 10 discs,as it's way to long to list here. For those of you that havent seen my first post im a long time fan and huge collector of Megadeth.Let me know what your after and if i dont have a double of it i can most likely find it depending on it's rarity. Peace Sells...Ya i Bought it.... SO FAR...SO GOOD...SO WHAT!!!!! |
Who has heard the bootleg of their first ever concert with Kerry King?
The quality is pretty bad, and there is a computerized voice advertising inbetween songs, but it's definitly worth hearing.
I have a few boots with Kerry, and you can definately tell it's him.I met him at a place i worked at when i was in high school, pretty cool guy.I hooked him up with my discount and he gave me backstage passes for me and my friend. There first boot that your refering to is called "Burnt Offerings" |

There first boot that your refering to is called "Burnt Offerings"
Yeah, that's the one. The version I got was just called "First Ever Gig With Kerry King.. etc." Burnt Offerings is one of the songs though. It has an interview with Mustaine at the end of it, if that defines it at all. |
I read that as "i got headbutted by a chair"
during kick the chair some1 was heading and just as i turned round he hit me in the face |
who would you say was megadeths best second guitarist?
|
Chris Poland :thumb:
|
Pfft, Marty > all
|
Pfft, Marty > all
I second that, if for Hangar 18 alone. |
No ! Chris > Marty > Al > Glen > Dave
Al's stage performances were so hot ! :naughty: |
Pfft, Marty > all
I third that |
Pfft, Marty > all
Agreed. Nobody fit as well with the band. |
Marty > Chris > Al
Not throwing Glen in there because he's just for the tour, though I think he did a killer job. |
Chris poland wrote some alright solos and was a good player, but friedman did some amazing stuff. Rust In Peace Album has some crazy sh*t (Hangar, Lucretia, Prisoners)
|

Actually, after that go Youthanasia, The System Has Failed, Cryptic Writings, The World Needs a Hero. Somewhere in there pick up the Rude Awakening DVD too.
I cant find Killing is my Business anywhere
Probably because it was re-released in 2002, not in 2004 along with the others. www.amazon.com |
I cant order from online stores my mom doesnt trust the internet :upset:
