I'm not sure how much use it would get, the only people I know around here who still regularly buy CD's are Tyler and Greg. Still, threads like these are useful for the small niche of people that do and I would have no problem with it.

We'll see what the other mods have to say.

Mike is an admitted fan of buying CDs and probably even vinyl

i buy Vinyl but only for albums that i like the artwork on

I buy CD's from uk hardcore and metalcore bands.

Stuff is hard to download and I like helping out smaller bands.

This is all lovely, but this isn't a discussion thread. Obviously such a thread is warranted, so make one. Not sure why you felt the need to ask. It'll work or it wont.

You guys could always try google cache searching for old threads to try and get avatars back

but its kind of a pain

I just tried that by googling a bunch of old threads from 2006, but no luck. It still updates with the modern avatars currently in the server. :(

Will just have to be more cautious and not jump the gun next time. I did mostly only try to christmas hat avatars that surely wouldn't be that difficult to replace with a google search (such as The Stig, Paul complained anyway) unless asked to such as in the case of Jason's batman and Josh's bird thing which I assumed they would have saved somewhere if they didn't mind it being messed with. Sorry guys.

R&M already has like, 4 mods to keep track of the 12 active users we have here.

i hope you're not counting vince in all of this!

hey i was thinking it might be a good idea to make the post rock thread a post rock/post metal thread. it seems like its pretty much just me and like a small handful of people ever post in the respective threads and i always end up having to search for them when i want to post in them. maybe combining them would keep them from falling off the pages all the time and create more conversation.
