I still sometimes find myself a bit frustrated by the ambient sections, because I'd rather listen to the pop songs, because they're so awesome. Spectacular album. I hope Black Foliage is just as good.

Is Oral Fixation good? [I]Laundry Service[/I] is pretty good, as far as I remember.

I like Vol. 2 a lot.

Really though, the songs no it are pretty dissimilar to "Hips Don't Lie". A lot of them are more pop-rockish and it's usually pretty interesting. And finally Carlos Santana doesn't ruin a song he guests on.

Hah. Yeah, [I]Laundry Service[/I] doesn't have that synthy squeak booty beat pop sound at all, so I figured that was a hype-making "CROSSOVER HIT."

The synth brass in "Mosquito Song" is so cheesey, but somehow not off-putting. I don't get how they do it.
