i probably have spent about 800 on it, despite the fact it's worth three grand. i have a good eye for deals, what can I say.

and my guitarist with the lp bought it second hand, for 450

I can never find good second hand deals, most of the guitar shops within a 20 mile radius of me overcharge and rarely do trade ins. I might do the stupid thing and order one online.

that or take a trip somewhere good to buy one

tis easy for cymbals: buy them from a guitar shop. my local one sold me the 1,500 quid cymbal for 120

also, i won my drum kit on Scuzz for 50p

I put in for two guitar competitions ever. Suprisingly, never won. maybe I should look for guitars at a drum shop, see if that works that way round

I know a shop thatll sell me anything for cheeper then other shops, so i get a fender p for 400. I can get it online cheeper, but i like that shop, i dont mind paying a llittle bit extra to a shop i know i can trust.

Yeah, i would want to buy from a shop anyday. orderring online means no idea how the guitar feels, sounds or anything that you can assertain from picking one up in a store.

I need to go back to Tottenham Court Road area in London, so many guitar stores there its unreal.

The one in London does. It has a section for all the major brands, and amps everywhere. plus they have some drum setups and other musical needs
