You gotta have a passion to play bass unless you're doing it because you have the "failed guitarist" esque written on ya.

I'd go with the drums if you know how to play them. They're a lot more fun IMO to play than bass or guitar.

The drum kids at my school always call it a trapset. I dont know why. but it hooked on me. I think bass would be really fun.

Go with what's going to be more potentially better. I don't know if your serious or a hobbyist but all in all Bass is going to cost probably less for it's bang. Bass is something everyone loves to fondle with anyway.

Songs like Beer by Reel Big Fish and Daterape by Sublime have awesome bass lines. I would love to be able to do that.

I find this to be mostly true. I had a huge crush on this chick, and we were pretty close, then she slowly started to change to be more like this dumb scenesters at our school. Not normal scenesters either, I mean the ones that think MCR are the hardest stuff out there and they think emo means people that are always sad and cut themselves. So basically this girl tries to be more like this group of retards and we slowly fall apart because she has to always hold up an appearance to make them happy. Its heartbreaking to me.
