Completely true. The cops came and searched every locker becasue of him. Man i was lucky i got to go home early.

Syncratic 07-23-2005 10:44 PM
Anyways, do you guys remember that whole MINOtour=GenISIS thing on Toolband? What ever happened with that.
Vaugely, but yeah.

Don't think it ever went anywhere. But, if we can pull a release date out of random Morse Code, we could probably decipher this thing.

Mr Herb 07-23-2005 10:45 PM

wait, didnt we decide that that statement could mean Isis was gonna tour with tool?

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-23-2005 10:49 PM

Yes, a MINItaur, but nothing ever became of it.

Mr Herb 07-23-2005 10:51 PM

maybe it means a minitour with Isis. meh

Hahaha, I don't (do).

I've listened to Lateralus (song) about eight times in a row. It blows me away.

That song is becoming my favorite song of all time.

Syncratic 07-23-2005 11:04 PM

'Reflection' to me is the most beautiful and perfect song ever written.

I love falling to sleep to in, it puts me in a semi-concious(sp?) trance.

One Groovin Clown 07-23-2005 11:05 PM

Third-eye is my sing of choice. Just the way it flows. So... amazing.

Mr Herb 07-23-2005 11:07 PM

The lateralus intro is one of the sweetest things ever and the solo bathed with tons of wah. How can one not love that?

Relfection plus triad. . . wow

Syncratic 07-23-2005 11:08 PM

Amazing...but Reflection.....just gets to my spiritual core and I love it.

SlapnPop 07-23-2005 11:10 PM

My favourite Tool song at the moment is H. The lyrics get me every time

Dude3 07-23-2005 11:13 PM

At the moment, I think Pushit is my favorite.

Bass plus lyrics. . .very emo moment(in a good way). My bro hooked to that song just cause of the lyrics. :thumb:

Syncratic 07-23-2005 11:16 PM

Pu**** is such a beautiful song, I love it. My favorite off of Ænima.

Dude3 07-23-2005 11:29 PM

I have negative 27 rep, because some loser got pissed when I said "Where the Red Fern Grows" is a crappy book. Now that is gay.

One Groovin Clown 07-23-2005 11:36 PM
Hey, Ken....so, to be back on topic, what Tool song makes you shudder?
shudder as in disgust? (hopefully not)

or as in jsut the overall feeling that you get.

Mr Herb 07-23-2005 11:37 PM

awesome really. thx.

Schism and patient vocals raise the hairs in the back of my neck

SonorKen 07-23-2005 11:38 PM

hmmm mine changes depending on my mood. Im in a big kick on "You Lied" right now. I love to crank it up in the PA, with the crowd noise and just wail on my drums to it.

Syncratic 07-23-2005 11:38 PM

Shudder as in excitement.

I could've sworn one time while listening to Parabola at night, the nerves in my back were moshing.....felt euphoric.

SonorKen 07-23-2005 11:42 PM

This is the kind of music we strive to write in Crutch. Stuff that moves people. The greatest compliment ever would be to see some people discussing how the music I make causes them to get goose bumps or causes the hair on the back of their neck to stand up.

One thing that is really cool with Crutch is some of the lyrics I have written mean totally different things to whomever reads it. I have yet to have anyone tell me what the song means when they read the lyrics and this is what I strive to do. Write something that someone can get in touch with on a personal level.

Mr Herb 07-23-2005 11:42 PM

Aliveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I! that part would make something like happen to me
