I think in general there was a more diverse group of people and attitudes were better but people were less educated cause things we take for granted like p2p, youtube and wiki wasn't around or well developed yet. then this just somehow turned into a retarded social club over time so it somehow seems worse

but yes i'll probably retire to visiting infrequently soon I don't see much point in coming here, the social club and trolling shit here is retarded and the few people I get along with I talk to more on facebook, there is a whole lot of unfunniness I could do without witnessing on a daily basis. I can get better music discussion elsewhere.

It was way worse back then people talked about Opeth and Metallica all the time. Everyone was into entry level metal and classic rock and there was all that "hurr put in her butt :naughty:" PWNED crap.

People have much better taste now and it's not nearly as gay in my opinion.
