yea all i said really is that burzum dont live up to my own standards of black metal. my opinion on black metal is that norway hijacked the genre in its early days and changed the direction completely. canada, finland and to some degree america should have been the main 'scenes' not norway.

whether you want to look at that as me simply liking a completely different strain of black metal or look at it as i do as being the only real black metal, up to you and i dont care

What a genre can't be hijacked. A genre is more or less a loose guideline on the elements that define the genre are. The major elements, anyways. Other than that deviation within a genre is good because it can improve on what the beginners of the genre started. I'm thankful there's different BM, it makes it more interesting.
