gorod are overrated by people who like them but generally underrated cause they kill 85% of modern death
|
np: Nihilist - Face Of Evil
Song rules so hard, and the intro is ****ing awesome. |
I could never get into Meshuggah, but I downloaded Destroy Erase Improve on a whim a few days ago and I have to say, I'm liking it.
It's definitely the best stuff I've heard from them, it's pretty varied and doesn't suffer from being continually midpace.
Here In After is pretty damn good, particularly Christ's Cage and I Feel Nothing. Also recently acquired and loving The Stench of Redemption and Goremageddon. |
goremageddon is an awesome record
not a fan of SOD |

yeah, my bands drummer worships them they are pretty cool though |
theyre ok once in a while, the title neurotripsicks kinda makes me think of something disgusting youd find in a hookers handbag, you know
that kinda bugs me |
Meshuggah is ****ing boring
|

They automatically win points for having a female drummer who's really good tbh. |
except shes really bad.
tbh. |
She isnt bad at all...
She's good. She keeps it tight. That's enough. |
If Gorod had "crazier" drumming it would kind of detract from the music because it's so guitar oriented. I'd rather have her not trying to one-up the guitarists all the time.
|
ya, very true i agree gorod dont need the show off drumming
i still would not call her "good" by any means, the parts she plays are hugely basic. not to say i dont like her style or her patterns or riffs |
She's good because she does exactly what they need her to. Barby (lol) is such a great bassist that two insanely gifted members in the rhythm section would be weird.

I love that name haha. And yep you're right. The drumming is just enough but no more. |
i duno tho i still feel like a lot of her parts dont have conviction on neurotripsicks, like when u listen to gene hoglan play, even if its something simple he still pounds that ****
she doesnt even play skank beats right guys. its criminal |
Why would you even bring up Gene Hoglan?
|
Name droppin yo
|
she doesnt even play skank beats right guys. its criminal
theyre called two-step beats |
seriously? because hes the opposite of a chick drummer
hugely fat, thick, hard-hitting and hairy lol |
Have you ever seen the drummer for Girlschool?:p
|
does she play two-step beats?
|
She probably wouldn't want to.
|
yet another example of fatal energy trying too hard
|
More like not trying hard enough.
|
more like **** you cunt
|
Word
|
youre like the nickleback of faggots
|
