Arena football is retarded. It has the same flaw as the XFL, in that instead of concentrating on the sport itself, they try to make everything all macho and Xtr3m3. Even the video game of it sucked.

But, XFL > Arena for the mere fact that XFL had a dude named He Hate Me, who ended up winning some sports illustrated poll for best rivals (rofl).

EDIT: So my borough chief of police said he was so fed up with how downhill the area has gone in the last few years, he ordered state assisstance and had a big crackdown on drugs today. Signs popped up around street corners where drug dealers hang about alerting people that drug dogs would be used against them, and helicopters were circling around us all day. Then there was all kind of screaming I heard on my way to the store near my house, but im not sure if its related.
That is insane.

whiteminority 07-26-2006 10:57 AM

strangely the dude who i bought it from was like

"i take paypal but i don't take credit cards"

wtf does that mean??

RetiredAt21 07-26-2006 11:19 AM

He takes paypal but not credit cards?

Matt? 07-26-2006 11:20 AM

but paypal is credit cards...

RetiredAt21 07-26-2006 11:21 AM

That's weird. Maybe you should ask him again or something.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 07-26-2006 11:22 AM
...How did it take you so long to see it?
Matt? 07-26-2006 11:25 AM

Matt? 07-26-2006 11:37 AM
but paypal is credit cards...
No it's not. Paypal takes the money from your bank account. I have a PP account for the sole reason that I don't have a credit card

Matt? 07-26-2006 11:50 AM

the whole thing seems kinda wierd now

why the hell would someone use credit info without paypal on ebay. imagine if i messaged him, and was like "ok here's my credit info!"

but yeah paypal is kinda like the same thing as a credit card but more like a virtual online debit card

i guess kinda

Yessir.

I know one or two guys on soulseek who have that Cannibal Haiku thing.

Matt? 07-26-2006 11:59 AM

i bet that the members use it probably

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 07-26-2006 12:01 PM
Yo the reason you've heard of I Wrote Haikus... is because I wrote up that thing about going to their show. They have content on myspace but I really don't know how you'd get their demo short buying it, which I didn't.
Actually I heard of them through She Died Real Pretty...

Matt? 07-26-2006 12:35 PM

There's this thing, it's called a telephone. Before paypal existed, my dad took credit cards for his eBay auctions and the people would call us and give us their credit card info.

And I have the I Wrote Haikus demo... It wasn't very hard to find on soulseek.

Matt? 07-26-2006 01:57 PM

i meant it seemed stupid to be giving someone your credit info.

like some random dude

i am so pleased

bottlerocket 07-26-2006 04:26 PM

^ What bands?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=HnqWvioDY_4&search=Daily%20Show%20septembe%20%20r%2011

Someone showed me in this pop-punk and I'm watching it. It's Jon Stewart talking about September 11 the day after it happened to something. It's really heartfelt, emotional, and true. I suggest you all watch it.

My respect for Jon Stewart just sky rocketed.
