College [B]rules[/B].

In the fall, I will return to a small institution where I don't really fit in for my last semester there, but it should still rule because I'll have physics, calculus three (which might actually be pretty cool), and most importantly data structures and algorithms, which I should be able to breeze through.

And then after that I'm transferring to a university where I might actually feel more at home.

And to be honest, I kind of suck at learning in a classroom but the small college has a decent library and the one at the university I intend to transfer to is just ****ing incredible. Like even the large liberal arts college in our area has a library where graph theory and general combinatorics takes up a whole ****ing shelf and I'm going to an engineering school.

in school I was always one of the 2-3worst students :lol:
But at the University this all doesn't count; I was average a long time, until I realized that war,peace, conflicts are that interesting that I want to spezialise myself onto this topic; Í started reading, reading and reading and meanwhile I know a lot ... therefore I go to exam with almost no learning and still get my grades;
ppl change - only cause you've been worse before, doesn't mean you will suck your entire life; it took me really long... 3,5years and this is 1,5years before my graduation of my university; Right now its my last year... in exact one year I have my Master in Political Science :)

Yeah I really sucked at math in high school. What a comeback!

I liked the environment of college but not the actual work, for the most part. Especially English.

I am average at maths, biology and french. I rule at everything else though.

I suck at languages but can do well in most other subjects if I care enough about it.

English II really sucked nads.

We had to write a bunch of papers about gay authors and stuff. I didn't even do several of them, but passed with a B.

Yeah lol, I'm really into the designing programs I learn about for such things in other classes and I know I can improve my math in time heh. :p

We in austria have a different system: 1 = best, 5 = worst

This place is just whacky now. It has some sort of digital degenerative disease that is slowly shutting it down, one forum at a time.

Anyway, my bands trailer got rear ended on the 2nd to last day of tour and our equipment got trashed. Insurance claim to the idiot that hit us for instruments only = $9,724. Life is pretty sweet when you call somebody else's insurance and they tell you they are taking full responsibility. Except that you have to call an insurance company.

Calc II was a serious pain in the *** for almost everyone. If, for any reason, I have to use any of the methods (that I already forgot) from that class in my career, I'll use a methods handbook. Since I want to enter bioinformatics, that probably won't be a huge problem.

Reputedly Calc III is easier and Calc I was way easy, so Calc II is kind of a turd you have to pass.

Anyway, I am definitely going to do some self-study in calculus, because I want a better command of one of the more difficult subjects for me. I need it for a lot of probability theory content. I might do my thesis on probability because it's one of the most enjoyable subjects in math.

Im taking Calc I this semester

for me Calc 9C was the hardest of the three. i just hate limits, they get boring after a while. i think it was more difficult for me because i was sick for almost half the quarter. i actually found vector calculus and differential equations easier

I did really well in Precalc and Algebra III but I chose not to take Calc. Too much work.

Calc I was easy

Calc II was hard

Calc III was really easy
