Metaphysics makes anything possible. It's basically the real-world "The Matrix." If you can free your mind, you can free your body.
Of course, most people are skeptical of this, but hey, beleive what you want. Someday, I'm going to laughing my ass off on the astral plane at those narrowmind folks. |
I just wanna get some good, intellectual discussion going.
|
It might be true that you can learn anything you want to learn.. But some people learn faster than others.... And we don't live forever
|
Maybe, but we are eternal, and all this pain is an illusion.
.... Ok sorry, I'm actually up for some spiritual discussion. A while back I researched different things, such as the Third Eye, Auras, Astral related stuff. Found some interesting things on google. I found the whole Aura thing to pretty interesting. I started to learn how to 'see' them and what not, but I just kinda stopped practicing... :upset: |
is that magic :chug:?
nucca, enima is not as good as lateralus, i humbly submit.... :smoke: |
Its Ænima... but ok.
its not that, its just. . .ive lost complete inrest for this myabe its just me. . .we need new tool!
This is why we should name the thread Und Kein Neues Tool! We NEED new Tool, however we have a problem; And no new Tool! /phayles Rene- For trying to come off like such a deep guy in your first post here, you sure do take too many phrases from Dave Chapelle. |

I check the thread every day. Merkaba is the god of the alternate dimension.
Man, playing Tool songs with my FX pedal makes it sound so much cooler. :-D I'm going to try and pull a massive recording session of Tuesday. I've been tone deprived for way too long. |
Yeah. Rush Hour 2.
****! I was hoping for something good...like Sister Act 2. |
Okay, let's talk philosophy:
I believe that everyone has the potential for intelligence, not just book-smart. We are all good at something. Most often, people find what they are good and best at, but many never find what they are good at. Also, you can learn ANYTHING you want to learn. All you have to do is look for the information. Informing yourself. The information is out there. Utilize it.
Weird, I was just looking up stuff on philosophy, and came across the idea of robots overruling us and making us either extinct or reduced to domestic animals. And I also agree about the whole learning thing, if you want it real bad, you'll get it. |

All I know is my fav saying is from Bill Hicks, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves. Very intersting ****t there.

I think "most people" don't really know about it. |
I don't believe in anything supernatural/paranormal, whatever you call it, for one simple reason:

Well, for those who do know about it |

Quite the contrary
|
So you think if a Christian wanted to prove the existence of God by taking that million dollar quiz, they could do so?
I highly doubt it. |
But the point of Christianity is not to prove the existence of God. That isn't a daily activity of Christians.

This guy's been doing it for 60 years To clarify though, I believe in alot of spiritual stuff, but my beliefs are that you can't affect the outer world with it.. Only your inner world.. Astral projection, flying out of your body, seeing things far away, is a nogo... I believe it's more like going inside your own mind and discovering the world as you see it.. |

Hey, I don't know about yours, but it's not like my mind is a boring place to explore ;)
|
I actually didn't assume you were Christian, it was just the first example that popped into my head. :)
|
Hehe. I am a christian though.. Well, sort of.. That jesus guy sure knew what he was talking about.. Everything else in the bible isn't really to my liking though

That's wierd, everything corresponds pretty accurately in the Bible so what Jesus taught was **** near the same thing the Bible does.
I don't believe in anything supernatural/paranormal, whatever you call it, for one simple reason: http://www.randi.org/research/index.html
People offer a million dollars also for any proof of Evolution. The only difference between the tests is, that usually a normal Christian, or any type of person with supernatural beliefs doesn't try to prove their case like an atheist does. |
That's wierd, everything corresponds pretty accurately in the Bible so what Jesus taught was **** near the same thing the Bible does.
I'm wondering.. Have you ever read the old testament? There's alot of condemning in the bible. Jesus never condemned anyone
People offer a million dollars also for any proof of Evolution. But if someone can astral project, that means they can look at something without using their eyes, wich means they could get a million dollars and feed the poor.. Give me one good reason they shouldn't do that. |
I'm wondering.. Have you ever read the old testament?
There's alot of condemning in the bible. Jesus never condemned anyone
The God in the Old Testament was angry a lot. Probably because someone told him the new Tool album was coming out soon, but than said they were just kidding. |
I'm wondering.. Have you ever read the old testament?
There's alot of condemning in the bible. Jesus never condemned anyone
Jesus turned over tables in a temple because people were selling things in a church. He showed anger and that's close enough for me.
I wasn't saying anything against anyones beliefs... haha
Jesus turned over tables in a temple because people were selling things in a church. He showed anger and that's close enough for me.
There's a big difference of slaying a million people, and being angry.. |
The point of the new testament was that there would be no more slaying and judgment. Alot of it corresponds is all I'm saying.
