Well given the way Frosties were boringed into Frosted Flakes, you may find them in America sooner or later. Probably in the army.
In the army they call the double bass a vertically oriented stringed pitch approximator. |
We totally have Frosties too.

2 army 3 vertically oriented stringed pitch approximator.
wha The words in the first and third fragments are just fucking me up super-duper, and the second one makes no sense to me being Canadian and all. |
Probably North America as a whole... here in Cananada we have Frosted Flakes as well.
Now if I see word of 'Shreddies' referred to as 'Cosmopolitan Shredded Wheat Breakfast Squares' or something overseas... well hot damn I think I'll have to go on a killing spree.
You mean 'Frosted Mini Wheats'? Thank God America hasn't got on with the whole cerealtype+"ies" thing. If I ever see Wheaties... Oh god.... |

Never tried it, might now though! Not eaten cereal in over a year come to think of it... Been a toast man for a while. |
I've been on a bagel kick for the past year. It's just the easiest thing to bring to work and keeps me filled.

Legit? It's bread - something very fundamental to every culture for the past 6000 years. We have one-third of a bread aisle devoted to bagels and a relative sized aisle of cream cheese. The grocery store near me has bacon-cheddar bagels (tasty) and jalapeno-cheddar bagels (with real jalapeno slices in 'em)! If you get a chance also, a whole wheat bagel + plain cream cheese + cracked pepper smoked salmon....it's an unbelievably delicious combination. Also, to anyone who cares - California Prop 19 (legal, recreational use of marijuana) did not pass last week. Arizona Prop 203 (medicinal marijuana) is failing, but the votes are so close they're counting the early ballots and there might be a re-count. We should get final results by the end of this week. |

Chex might be the US equivalent and we have Mini Wheats here too: |

We just seem to stick to loaves of bread and rolls and sometimes eat things like croissants. That salmon, black pepper and cream cheese bagel sounds awesome I must say! It would be nice if people's generally conservative attitudes towards marijuana would be relaxed a bit. If it wasn't for the bullshit scaremongering on the '30s founded on racism towards hispanics and black people, attitudes today would likely be very different. I was very annoyed to see green get bumped back up to being a Class B illegal drug here in the UK again... I think the police won't hit down so hard on it as most other Class Bs though, they have enough other real problems to deal with. Hope the Arizona prop 203 wins, it is a shame to stop people from getting medicine for stupid reasons. |
Medical marijuana has passed twice here in the past 15 years, and has quickly overturned. In order for it to pass, either many more states will need to pass it first so that AZ feels like it's being screwed out of tax dollars, or California will need to legalize recreational usage, starting a nationwide precedence.

Great breakfast.
Sliced banana on top, aw yeah. |
Wtf? Those things look like the size of my foot. Do you put them in a bowl with milk like a typical cereal?
|
Yeah. I reckon 2 to a bowl is optimum. They kinda go soggy if you don't eat thm quick enough. But some people like that. Infact, mushy weetbix in warm milk is pretty great.
|
Wtf? Those things look like the size of my foot. Do you put them in a bowl with milk like a typical cereal?
They are not, they're like 3 inches long. I like how they are weetbix here and in countries they weren't invented are weetabix. |
