MA-ing mine, Dargon's, Cael's and Tyler's posts on the old TBP is not looking
TBH you guys were always more into the noisier/rawer stuff in the Beherit and VON vein or thrashy stuff which was never really my favorite style anyway so I really don't why you assume that. |
^ prob assume that because thats what cyneric + apoc obviously did
i guess you're right though i can't remember you listening to anything worth listening to... aside from ABITNS?
The fervor in which male fellator defends his music and attacks others as trends undermines the point he is trying to make.
Maybe fad would be a better word... I cant see how its a trend though, for me at least, I've been listening to it for 5+ years now... Well that's obviously a matter of opinion though I don't think I ever really talked about what I was into on TBP that much. Back when I was on there Tyler was still really into Xasthur and Winter of Apokalypse and Dargon was almost strictly into thrash and death. I have been listening to Darkthrone, Burzum and the other main stuff for about four years and still listen to them pretty often so I wouldn't say black metal was a fad for me, maybe the interest in the more obscure stuff was. |
obviously its a matter of opinion, this is after all a forum
and since the first incarnation of TBP ive moved more towards rawer more violent stuff, meaning im hating more the stuff that you (and tyler, and some old bands i used to listen to) cos these days i can't stand anything that is catchy or pretentious. really if you look at early bm stuff like deathcrush, satanic blood, blood upon the altar, oath of black blood etc then you could easily justify the argument that stuff like drudkh, xasthur and perhaps even burzum (i know they are not much alike, just trying to pick out a wide-range of bands) are not black metal because they go against the foundations set in the aforementioned albums |

WHOA A FULL 5+ YEARS I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO FATHOM THE AMOUNTS OF KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE ACCUMULATED OVER ALL THOSE YEARS lol i am being facetious in case its not obvious |
it was obvious, and i chuckled

Nice. D666 are returning to Aus early next year. Can't wait for it. |
wait did he serious suggest that burzum isnt bm
BM isnt as narrow of a genre as some think. it has evolved since it began. |

I'm sure you're a very complex, and misunderstood creature. You alone, hold the key to tr00 bm and satan's legions. |
