Iai 01-11-2008 09:58 AM

I swear 90% of the posts I've seen from YDLoad have been about the way English people say stuff.

okay 01-11-2008 09:59 AM

ATM 01-11-2008 11:30 AM

I'm angry all the time.

Liebensaft 01-11-2008 04:36 PM

I'm having fun configuring my neighbor's router. It's not so much tampering as applying skills from my computer networking class to real life situations for my own benefit.

Doctor D. 01-11-2008 04:47 PM

Saw Galactic w/ Mr.Lif and Boots Riley last night. It was one helluva show. Everybody on stage brought it hard.

ATM 01-11-2008 05:29 PM

Nice, I wanted to go to that. Mr. Lif is legendary.

There is a lot of things that you have to do with a router that isn't in the instruction manual. I remember having problems setting up my router.

perriwinkle 01-12-2008 11:57 AM

Liebensaft 01-12-2008 12:59 PM

Yes. They're pretty decent. And if you already like Cursive and other bands on the label, chances are you'll like them.

Jawaharal 01-12-2008 04:46 PM

wtf is Justice doing on a Cadillac commercial

Neoteric 01-12-2008 05:06 PM

Because they are getting quite popular among casual people.

I know people from school who have D.A.N.C.E. as their myspace profile song.

ATM 01-12-2008 05:07 PM

Wow, look at the New Years Party my Aunt put on:

Bukowski 01-12-2008 05:25 PM

Justice were incredible live. I don't care if they are in commercials, I just wanna relive that live experience.

Neoteric 01-12-2008 05:35 PM

I liked the song they did with Simian but I'm not too into the album. :/

YDload 01-12-2008 05:41 PM

watching youtubes of "Good Morning Captain" live have really helped me understand just how awesome the song is. the way its set up, with the singer standing off to the side in low light, make it seem almost like a ghost story.

but i thought Slint only had four members? here there were five, and the guy singing didnt have a guitar. but he sounds just like the original singer, so did they get another guitarist and have the other guy just focus on vocals?

Bordello 01-12-2008 05:50 PM

I think I'm going to start learning some Slint songs.

Neoteric 01-12-2008 05:52 PM

I can play all of Breadcrumb Trail and bits and pieces of the other songs. Slint are definitely interesting guitarwise.

im pretty sure i read somewhere that they wanted brian mcmahan to focus on his vocals for the live performances.

is it true that they never toured when they first starting performing and maybe never did live performances where mcmahan sang and played at the same time?
