Hola Matt.

Stew: Yeah, you could sling rocks at their heads and kill them.

Pazz 05-24-2006 07:34 PM

What's going on?

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 07:35 PM

Nada mucho. School sucks as normal. Almost over though. w00t!

Pazz 05-24-2006 07:44 PM

I was loaded with history homework tonight. Luckily only one of the things is due tomorrow, so I did it and will leave the rest for a later date.

I was studying for my drivers ed test that I have tomorrow (final in-class, except I have one class to make up). I need to get 20 marks in order to pass. But there are 3 things I can get the 20 marks, so I should be fine.

Untitled 05-24-2006 07:45 PM

Woo am home.

Considoring all i drnak was shots all night, i feel very very sober. I dont stink though, oh well, it was a fun night.

Ooh, fun. I have to get my notebook for history together which I pretty much have done. It's gay.

Driver's ed tests are easy.

Butler: You don't type like you're sober. :p

Pazz 05-24-2006 07:56 PM

The teacher said this is the hardest test of them all. I figure I just need to score like 8-10 out of 31 and I pass the course.:p

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 07:58 PM

Wow, that's it? That's easy.

I'm going to go write an anaylisis over characters in Of Mice and Men. I'll pop in every few minutes or so.

i'm reading that book right now in class. what part are you at?

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:02 PM

Well we need like 180 marks in the whole class to pass. 180 marks is like 70%, and I have 160 marks already. We did an assignment last class and had to hand it in for her to mark. I'm guessing around a 7 out of 10 on it. Then she gives us marks for participation and stuff, which I figure I will get a 5 or 6, since I sleep at times. Then the final test I have to do, which means I don't have to get to well on the test.:thumb:

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:03 PM

I finished it a long time ago. I just never got around to doing the analysis.

How far are you in?

EDIT: ^^^to Zack

Matt: oic, that's cool

ZaaR 05-24-2006 08:04 PM

we just finished chapter two. so far it's boring as hell

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:04 PM

I haven't read that book. It's one of the books to choose from, but I don't think my teacher likes it a lot so she didn't choose it.

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:05 PM
we just finished chapter two. so far it's boring as hell
Meh, it was a lot better than other stuff we've read. Not to mention it's also short as hell.

ZaaR 05-24-2006 08:06 PM

next year i'm going to have to go through the pain of reading farenheit 451. i've heard it's the worst book in existance.

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:09 PM

No, The Scarlett Letter is the worst book in existance. I read 5 chapters and gave up.

I got through F451 pretty easy though. It wasn't too bad really.

Untitled 05-24-2006 08:11 PM

Im off to bed now, night all.

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:13 PM

Night you drunk bastard.

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:13 PM

In grade 9 we read:

Animal Farm
Julius Caesar
Cyrsaylids(sp?)

In grade 10 we read:

To Kill A Mocking Bird
Macbeth

We are supposed to read 3 books each year, but I don't think we will get a third one in this year. It took us half the semester to read To Kill A Mocking Bird because we took our sweet time reading it.

ZaaR 05-24-2006 08:15 PM

i think the crysalids is either banned from our school, or it's only done by one or two grade 10 teachers.

grade 9 we did romeo and juliet, and now we're on of mice and men

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:17 PM

In 9th we read:
Animal Farm
The Village
Our Town
TKAM

10th:
F451
Night
Julius Caesar
Scarlet Letter
Of Mice and Men

11th:

So far we have to read The Great Gatsby over the summer.

Fun.

EDIT: We did Romeo and Juliet 9th also.

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:18 PM

Crysalids was the most boring book ever. I don't see why it would be banned from your school. It should more be banned from catholic schools, and I go to a catholic school.

ZaaR 05-24-2006 08:22 PM

i go to a catholic school too

isn't there alot of swearing or something?

cobert 05-24-2006 08:22 PM

I cant remember very many books from grade 9, but i remember romeo and juliet, 12 little indians....and im sure there was another.

This year, we read the old man and the sea, the awakening, rhyme of the ancient mariner, of mice and men, and lord of the flies (rad book). And of course, we watched dead poets society.

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:22 PM
Noooooo, The Old Man and The Sea is the most boring book ever.
Well I haven't read it, so I can't compare.

I missed like half of Macbeth, lucky my english teacher doesn't believe in tests.:p She scheduled a test for To Kill A Mockingbird, and the day of she said she didn't feel like giving us the test and we don't need to do it.

She has only marked like 7 things this semester. That would be why I have like an 88%.

Sweet site i just found. Type in the name of a band or a song, and it will find similar artists you might like, and actually stream them for you. So awesome.

Pazz 05-24-2006 08:41 PM

Haha, Zach made a thread about that site. He bumped it like 5 times and no one ever used it.

(I think it was Zach anyways)

Time for me to get off. I need to study some more and then get some shut eye.

Night guys.

DJ Ducksauce 05-24-2006 08:47 PM

Bye bye Matt.
