im kinda leaning to starting my own again. Im gonna quit this band (75% sure)

Their only goal is to play live, which means they will sell out to get gigs, because that is what they want to do. I can completely understand HOW someone could do that, but considering where I am in my life and how i view what I do, I can't agree or condone a band whos sheer goal is too sell out for little money.

The SAD thing is, they have been working on these songs for months, and I just show up like its nothing. Its really doesnt say much for me, lets put it that way

i go to school with Ollie. and have him on msn. he's out with his g/f tonight in town though. there's a few people going, i would go but:
a. it's 35 miles into Newcastle
b. i can't afford a taxi home
c. i'm too tired
d. i have a 9 hour shift on the bar at the pub tomorrow.
the certs arent that hard to get man. My boy got trained to be one
i don't need any certs, just have to be 18 to be on the bar un-supervised.

Jev 02-03-2006 01:36 PM

I'd like to live in a pub. I could play gigs when I get bored.

superpeer 02-03-2006 01:38 PM

I must have like 100 mxers on AIM and MSN combined.

kurrpt 02-03-2006 01:38 PM

Shadow_Stalker's parents run a pub / club place, he keeps his drumkit there and has band practices there.

i'm old enough to do anything i want here in the UK, as far as i'm aware. i bought 2 bottles of wine today at lunchtime for a mate, the woman on the checkout was really grumpy.
"you'd better have I.D!!". she seemed disappointed that i did, lol. i only look 15 or so, i love it when people see my I.D, you can tell they want to argue with me that i'm not really 18, but you can't really go against a photocard driving license.

Nice. My mate used to live in a pub before he moved away. It was rather nice.

i wouldn't like living at a pub. too smoky, i can't stand it, but i need the money, and i don't want a job on a supermarket checkout.
