Yes I have seen it.

I will most definitley be attending his concert when he tours. I'm not sure when this will be, but he said on his website that after the new album comes out he's going on a tour.

thickasabrick 11-22-2004 03:45 PM

i'd wanna see that tour. he is an amazing multi-instrumentalist. what instrument do you think he will be playing live mostly?

jpj 11-22-2004 03:58 PM

For this tour he'll probably play 4/8/10 and 12 string basses because that's mainly what he played on his first two solo albums, so I'm assuming that's what he'll play on this one. I don't know though because he hasn't said much about what this album is gonna be like.

I'll rep anyone that votes for The Lemon Song.

magicbus 11-22-2004 04:16 PM

I voted it!

jpj 11-22-2004 04:18 PM

Sorry I can't rep either of you :(

thickasabrick 11-22-2004 04:29 PM

im afraid i voted for hendrix. as i said in the thread, it was basically a coin toss though. i think zeppelin had more songs up there than hendrix did, so im giving him more of a chance.

time: 3 years
taecher: you mean how long i've been teaching? since august of this year, so only a few months.
fav guitar model: les paul
fav guitar company: fender
fav amp model: i like marshalls, DSL 900 to name one.
fav genre: to play on guitar? when i play electric its blues, acoustic i play bluegrass.
fav guitar idol: jimmy page, david gilmour.
fav song to play: various traditional bluegrass ones. probably useless to name them.

Woodstock 11-22-2004 04:44 PM

DMB are very boring to me, the music fades into space. Haven't listened to OAR, but I have a physic sense that I'm missing nothing.

lunch998 11-22-2004 04:52 PM

JPJ I finally got Dylan and the Dead. Just started listening to it, so far it rules.

Woodstock 11-22-2004 05:02 PM

My birthday is the 2 of December, little over a week. I'd like AIM sent albums and rep. :)

BludgeonySteve 11-22-2004 05:21 PM

Fine, just pester us about it and we will.

My friend's band is playing a sort of showcase thing. They're going ac/dc Beating Around The Bush, BOC- Don't fear the reaper, Aerosmith- Sweet Emotion and one original song.

Nice classical rock lineup there I says ;). I'll go and be that guy who's the friend of the band and is probably video tapping.

i don't have AIM, and i dont bother with rep stuff, so you will get a pat on the back....not a real one of course, just an imaginary one.

anyone here listen to Simon and Garfunkel? i have one of their records (their greatest hits one) and i absolutely love it. a lot of the songs are live, so its really more of a live album than anything. they are amazing songwriters (well mostly just simon) and their singing is awesome. does anyone know what intervals they use when they sing together to get that really melancholy, lonely sound?

Yea they own. Solid guitar work as well.

I was just listening to the Dylan and the Dead performance of Knockin' on Heavens Door, and my "friend" said it was cool that they covered a GnR song.

Kill your friend.

My birthday is Dec. 5, so I expect rep, and maybe a few albums.

I don't know why all the hardcore Dead fans hate it, I think it's great.
