My lips are dry.

YDload 01-10-2008 11:31 AM

in chemistry class we watched a lab safety video by the American Chemical Society. to demonstrate the flammability of clothing they held a mannequin under a Bunsen burner and it caught on fire. then the mannequin was rolled around on the ground to demonstrate the "stop drop and roll" technique.

it was very surreal, very Lynch-esque. i wonder if the Butthole Surfers ever used that footage in their live shows

dei 01-10-2008 11:32 AM

It would have been cooler if they brought the mannequin into the classroom.

StaticSynth 01-10-2008 11:45 AM

or brought lynch into the classroom.

Neoteric 01-10-2008 12:09 PM

or the Butthole Surfers into the classroom.

YDload 01-10-2008 01:28 PM

i think the butthole surfers are honorary members of the American Chemical Society

Anxious 01-10-2008 01:45 PM

They're just waiting to use Gibby's cadaver for experimental research.

YDload 01-10-2008 02:01 PM

most shocking discovery: he didnt actually use special mics or studio techniques. he actually has distorted vocal cords.

sweboy 01-10-2008 03:01 PM
do you go to the university?
I will be in the fall. Right now I'm just taking a math prep class. It's like six hours of math per week.

Did you ever move here or what?

I'm no mathemagician but that's more math than I could ever math. Math!

Montana 01-10-2008 05:30 PM

I'll give you something to math about.

Robert Crumb 01-10-2008 05:52 PM

I never understood why 'maths' didn't catch on in the states.

YDload 01-10-2008 05:56 PM

well it's like this:

in england they call sports "sport"
and they took away that "s" and put it at the end of "math"

and thats why they have sport and maths while we americans have sports and math

why weird?

Kayetan 01-10-2008 11:27 PM

i guess just because i don't have any good reason to go to school there other than that it's a nice place. seems kind of weird sometimes.
