Used to find death metal boring, only listened to melodic death metal but recently heard some technical death metal... The Red Chord's first album (if it counts) and The Faceless album; Akeldema (also if it counts >_>).
Any more good technical death out there?
Decapitated are really good, I would try some Necrophagist as well. |

is Stoic still around here? he always posted a lot ITT, but i haven't seen him in months....
|
He hasn't been around in forever, no. He'll drop in now and again but not like he used to.
|
thats sad, he was a great member who contributed a lot!
|
a lot of people are just sick of some of the regs attitudes
allan never posts anymore, not that he ever really posted itt |
I remember when that happened on another forum. Then I discovered callousness and trolling. |
Stoic was like the kindest poster on this site. Apparently he isn't dead, but I don't know what's going on

some stuff (regardless of being technical) you'll more than likely enjoy:
Animosity Despised Icon Knights Of The Abyss All Shall Perish Hacksaw To The Throat The Red Shore |
Gorod are also great tech death.

The Mindflayers Addiction is the shit |
their name is awesome, as are their song titles
and yeah, theyre okay |
their other songs are meh.
|
yeah, basically
vocals in by beard and throne or whatever sound like cradle of filth :/ |
they are fun, though. It's like old school death metal but at the same time Gothenberg with a party-metal essence.
Anata - Conductor's Departure.
Awesome, read your review about it, melodic and technical? I look forward to this
Quo Vadis
If they are even a bit technical, I'd want to listen to it
Decapitated are really good, I would try some Necrophagist as well.
Hmm, which album for Necrophagist? Looks like Winds of Creation is the one to get from Decapitated, not sure about it though. edit - also I'll try to check out stuff posted on this page |
Forget Necrophagist. Get both Gorod's albums instead

New Dismember cover. Really cool and really lame at the same time. |
It's alright, they've done better.
|
It's hard to compete with Massive Killing Capacity, The God that Never Was and even Like an Everflowing Stream cover-wise.
But then look at Indecent and Obscene, Death Metal, and Hate Campaign. This is better than those. |

Mostly the latter, I think. |

Agreed. Though Epitaph is not bad at all. |

Though Epitaph is not bad at all.
I found Epitaph weaker than Onset of Putrefaction. Still holding out for the new album. |
