lol nei, desverre.
hehe okay then. where'd you learn?
I'm Odin.

rid 06-23-2008 08:11 AM

aahhh that explains the avatar then.

1338 h4x0r 06-23-2008 08:17 AM

Yeah but srsly I know because ... well, I know. For the same reason that I learned about statistical estimation today, without having any specific need for it at the moment. I'll come up with some use for the skills that I've acquired eventually.

Plus I'd like to move somewhere tbh. Miserable weather + Nordic bitches == win

rid 06-23-2008 08:21 AM

Ever been to Scandinavia? Where do you live now?

I'd like to move somewhere else. :p

1338 h4x0r 06-23-2008 08:25 AM

No I haven't

I live in the US, in eastern Pennsylvania. Not too far from Philadelphia.

Thanks to global warming, the weather in southern Scandinavia is reputedly more miserable than before—instead of a pleasant snowfall, it rains and blows during the winter.

huh huh huh huh

cool

rid 06-23-2008 08:30 AM

Not been there. Just a bunch of places in MI and FL. Spent some hours at airports in some of the big(gest) cities though. :p

Well not exactly, though sometimes, and very much so in certain areas. Bergen, think 2 years ago, had rain for about 85 days straight. South of Norway (don't know about the other countries) is pretty warm in the summer, not THAT cold in the winter. I just find the country pretty damn boring.

I'm off for now, later!

1338 h4x0r 06-23-2008 08:35 AM

I'm a boring person.

Not a huge problem for me

the2stranger 06-23-2008 08:36 AM

Alright, as far as I can judge now, the vinyl ripping is working.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-23-2008 08:37 AM

I want to buy a turntable and start getting some vinyl.

the2stranger 06-23-2008 08:44 AM

You should Jono.
I've waited for so long to get one, always in doubt on whether I should or not.
But I have one now and I can convert my vinyl's, so I can still listen to thm on the PC/mp3 player too.
And it's such a nostalgic feeling to play records.
And of course, the artwork on vinyls > CD artwork big time.

Neoteric 06-23-2008 08:44 AM

I have a turntable and no money for vinyl.

1338 h4x0r 06-23-2008 08:50 AM

Turntables are pretty inexpensive

We got a new portable for $100.

Yup, I have.
It's pretty sweet imo.
What do you think?

gmoneyguy 06-23-2008 10:13 AM

I loved it. Especially since it has more prevalent vocals than their other releases. The Black Boned Angel collaboration is also really awesome.

repcak 06-23-2008 10:40 AM

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH..... i just realized that i have to write about 140-160 pages (!) in the next 6months..... help?!

rid 06-23-2008 10:42 AM

But it wasn't bad.

the2stranger 06-23-2008 11:42 AM

Rid, how did you find out about these forums actually?
'Cause we don't get that many new users here anymore, let alone quality users.
You're quite the exception if I may say so.

the2stranger 06-24-2008 05:07 AM

Holy ****.
Excuse my double posting, but I think it's not such a crime.
If you see that the last post was over 12 hours ago, and was also by me.

What happened? Huge downtime again?
I thought the servers were a bit more stable again. :-\

Oh well, I'm at uni, doing some assignment on drug cultures and youth.
I can reference to tons of stoner/psychedlic and other cool music as well as cult drug movies and stuff.

it's teh cooliez.

How's everyone else doing?
/tries to revive thread.

np: Nadja - Flowers Of Flesh

repcak 06-24-2008 05:24 AM

yeah, big downtime!

I have an exam in exact 24h and I haven't learnt yet.
The problem is, that I felt asleep at 6am today, slept some 4-5hours and stood up... I am tired as hell; I am up since 2-3hours and I still cannot work right... damn... what a fukking day, if you're so damn tired :(
You just aren't really awake if you fell asleep, when the sun shines through your window....

132WalrusesInMexico 06-24-2008 06:10 AM

Man, this morning at 2:45 ish I woke up thinking it was time to go to work. I showered and everything and was about to leave when I looked at the clock and I was like WTF?! I still got 3 hours of sleep left.

The only thing I could think of is "I'm going to fall asleep on the drive to work this morning."

repcak 06-24-2008 06:12 AM

damn, how could this happen?!

132WalrusesInMexico 06-24-2008 06:17 AM

I have no idea. I'm always really confused in the morning.

the2stranger 06-24-2008 06:40 AM

Yeah, sleep's a bitch.

My pattern of sleep has been lacking lately.
For some nights now, I go to bed at a quite normal time, but dream so much that I'm still tired after 8 hours of sleep or so.
It sucks. :(

132WalrusesInMexico 06-24-2008 06:41 AM

Omg 8 hours of sleep sounds so nice.

I had 2 pieces of small plastic in my coffee and I swallowed one. This has been the worst morning ever.

repcak 06-24-2008 06:45 AM

well at least I am "awake" since a half hour now... I am ready for learning... YEAH :)
