well, this is what the Maiden authority does:

We look after the Official Iron Maiden thread... we know more about maiden than anyone else on these forums, so we answer all the questions, in a non-patronizing and non-flaming manner, whereas others would go "**** off you ****ing noob, learn your facts".

we also stop idiots from acting in ^that manner. I think there need to be a group of people like that in all threads.

I'm like that in the Black Sabbath thread, there's a few others aswell who keep the thread filled with good posts instead of bashing people that ask the same question loads of times.

I try in the Tool thread, but anyone who posts there gets accused of being a 'fan boy' (how do you get away with that Gurs?).

I think the Maiden and tool threads both run smoothly, but threads like this dont need it that badly

I've earned respect in the Iron Maiden thread by knowing so much of their stuff, by making huge essays dissproving anyone that comes in to say that maiden suck or aren't as good as metallica etc., and i'm the third top poster, and am on the verge of becoming the 2nd top poster.

im the top poster, yet still I get accused of being a fan boy by other members, which is pretty lame to say. Look at the R&M polls, the amount of accussation sucks.

thankfully, we have had few flamers/spammers in the Tool thread

well, you need to be on good terms with the other top posters, if you are, then make an authority with them. if the top 3 or whatever agree to be in an authority, it'll be accepted

Not really a thing that would go well with Tool, people who post in there are people who ONLY post in there 90% of the time.

Plus after the top two, theres a big drop off

Now the 2nd the series is about to be released in a land far far away there was a man a man alone he sat there posting on the official mx uk thread but now , now he does not mearly post he posts with avengence after the great accident of 1000th post he quickly regathered his life but now it was to late he was spamming it was endless he was absourbed CONSUMED into this realm of sins and SPAMMING and quickly ht emx administrator tracked him down spyware now installed he tracked his computer movements bens ally jesus had been cruisifixed and was DEAD so the admins chance was open he lepped into action spyware turned into scray pop ups with cut out newspaper letters and then then they met but bens posts of vengence had turned into posts of love and they lived happily ever after.(dont need to see the film)

In the Sabbath thread I'm probably the only person who doesn't like the Paranoid album and the others respect that. Also I know loads about them etc...
