Ah, YDLoad, you get me every time. Btw, I read in the paper a while ago the thing referenced in your user title, I made the connection instantly. Brutal.

I'm listening to The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow right now. I'm glad I got Chutes instead of Oh, Inverted World, I like this one a lot. Pink Bullets is a great song, I should learn it sometime.

Little Man being Erased 03-21-2006 03:46 PM

Yeah, Chutes Too Narrow > Oh, Inverted World.
Another first time listen:

Mojave 3 - Ask Me Tomorrow

Wonderful. Like Souvlaki-quality Slowdive, except more organic and human.
I will check those out.
I really really like Thom Yorke's solo concert.
Apparently he's releasing a solo album at some point in the not-too-distant future.

ATM 03-21-2006 05:54 PM

Oh, wierd, never heard anything about that.

I can't wait to see them at Bonnaroo, apparently they are playing a 4 hour set!

Little Man being Erased 03-21-2006 05:56 PM

I think Pitchfork reported it yesterday or something.

4 hours! Fuck.

I agree, 3rd favorite SY album behind Daydream Nation and Dirty.

Either way I saw B&S last night so I'm doing the knee-jerk reaction of digging them afterwards. The Life Pursuit ftw.

Baby Huey

There's some kind of party going on in the common room here, but I don't want to join in so I'm having my own one man party up here, with Baby Huey.

Also been listening to both The Bends and OK Computer. Think I might like them both more than I used to think I did.

I love the Trainspotting soundtrack. Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Blur, New Order....lots o' good stuff. Now all I have to do is convince my parents to let me see the movie >.>

Diggage for today includes The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest. Not a lot to say about this album except I think it gets better every time I listen to it. Some Pixies may be dug later in the day.
