If anyone can find Carry Me Home off Kazaa or something like that, download it. Great song that I dont think has been released in the US, it might be on Volts, Im not sure. But download it.

rippa32 06-24-2005 07:21 PM

I wouldnt mind being able to get all thier B Sides.
I wouldnt mind being able to get all thier B Sides.
Ive managed to find..

Blackballed
Borrowed Time
Carry Me Home
Cold Hearted Man
Crabsody in Blue
Fling Thing
Getting Off
Gloria (I dont think this ones AC/DC...it has Bon Scott singing, dunno what the band is)
Let It Loose
Love Song
RIP
School Days
Snake Eyes
Stick Around
Welfare

and this awesome "Unplugged" version of You Shook Me All Night Long

rippa32 06-25-2005 05:53 AM

Thats quite a list but not all are B-sides.
Crabsody in Blue - Aussie Let There Be Rock
RIP - Aussie Dirty Deeds
School Days - Aussie TNT(basically international High Voltage)
and as for Gloria it was probably with the valentines.
(although dont feel too left with these aussie versions of albums as us aussies didnt ever get love at first feel except on a B-Side)

boxofmetallica 06-25-2005 06:38 AM

i can make this post and half of you wont even know i existed, malcolm kills, more of a writer than angus

rippa32 06-25-2005 06:41 AM

I dont get it. Although I understood the point of Malcolm and yes great writer although Angus wrote his bits, Malcolm his and Bon/Brian thiers (well not all of Brian) so it was pretty even.

AB/CD 06-25-2005 09:01 AM

any1 else read Bons lyrics for a song called up in the hills band never recorded it like

Any chance you can host some of these for me? I'd really like to give them a listen.

Yeah, the video for Big Gun is really funny. Arnie duck walks and stuff with Angus, and the gibson SG looks really small on him.

AB/CD 06-25-2005 04:47 PM

it is a small guitar its just angus is prety small so looks bigger on him

rippa32 06-25-2005 10:34 PM

Yeah it's great for him because its so light as well. I personally find them a bit too small and would probably never own one.

Sure, which ones you want me to upload?

And yeah rippa when I said b sides, I meant ones that hadnt been released in the US. This site has a whole list of them. I cant find Messin with the Kid, which sucks since its a cover of a blues song, and Hellbilly Ditty. I wish I could, the latter has Angus singing :p

rippa32 06-26-2005 12:34 AM

Ok fair enough, School Days is a good song (actually I havn't heard it, only Chuck's version)

As many as possible! If you can't be bothered, just a few of the good ones will do. Cheers mate.

You can blatently hear Bon on School days saying 'Not yet Jimmy'.

I actually like his work on Beating Around the Bush ( a highlight on the Highway to Hell album)

carnal_forgeries 06-27-2005 05:51 AM

I never got 2 into them, I found they were sort of corny. Their tapping solos were great though.

rippa32 06-27-2005 06:19 AM

Corny?, tapping? are you sure youre not thinking of some other band?

AB/CD 06-27-2005 07:28 AM

well AC/DC can be corny but never have they used any really good techniques like tapping

rippa32 06-27-2005 05:07 PM

When has AC/DC been corny?

Brewer14 06-27-2005 05:27 PM

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaailbreak!

/bored

Anyway, this songs sweet. Im not 100% sure if its AC/DC or not, but it has Bon singing, and it kicks anyway, so who cares?

rippa32 06-27-2005 06:42 PM

Wow, that sounds nothing like AC/DC

Brewer14 06-27-2005 08:21 PM
Wow, that sounds nothing like AC/DC
Heh, yeah. Still a good song

Carry Me Home is on the radio! Nice surprise...

stratman 06-27-2005 09:26 PM

Yeah thats AC/DC. I own that CD and its the best song on it. There are only five songs on there.

stratman 06-27-2005 09:28 PM

sorry, I thoght you were talking about jailbreak. I don't know.

PowerChord 06-27-2005 09:58 PM

I agree with you somewhat. But i find people are alot more interested in catchy toons with 'not so great' instrumentals apposed to those with amazing instrumentals and less catchy of a tune.

Bucky 06-27-2005 10:19 PM

Everyone has their own taste. It depends on whether they like to sing a long, or tap their foot.
When has AC/DC been corny?
Mistress for Christmas lol, but i still love it :D

rippa32 06-27-2005 11:02 PM

Yeah great song. Hey I remember you, you havnt posted in a while have you?

Bon_Scottie 06-28-2005 04:19 AM
Whos jimmy?
God knows.

Might have been somebody helping out with the recording? The recording is really shabby, but I think that adds to the feel of the song. Really love the intro.

Keep the rare songs coming!

AB/CD 06-28-2005 06:38 AM

get snake eyes up i dont wanna ruin my record :D songs amazing

live theory 06-28-2005 08:08 AM

AC/DC is an ok band. Sure, they're one of the biggest badns in older rock but the talent isn't up to par with others of their time. Some of their songs are pretty good, but like others have said, the ones that don't sound the same aren't bad.
