I used to hate Nightwish, but eventually it was the song 'where were you last night' and marco that made me like them, he is f[B][I][/I][/B]ucking awesome.

I listend to Dream Evil for my first time yesterday. Never appealed to me. Their music just wasn't anything special. The front cover looked sweet though :cool:

This Dream Evil's point actually. When they started they wanted to become the more old school, cliche band on the planet. Something like Hammerfall but better :p. I dont like them either, except for the vocals which are cool and Dio-ish

I like the lead guitarist's side project, Firewind better.

You mean Gus? He left Dream Evil last November, didnt he? Firewind sound more hard-rock-ish to me at times.

They still have the melodic sense of power metal.

As for Gus G leaving, I don't know. I don't keep up with Dream Evil.

Confirmed. He's left Dream Evil. Have you heard anything by his other band Mystic Prophecy (or Nightrage)? He's also an Arch Enemy (blah) session guitarist now.

By the way, about the uploads, I have most of Iced Earth's albums. I'm just not sure how to use YSI.

One of 2 ways...

1. Put all the mp3s in a folder, and compress it using a Zip program (or RaR, but I would prefer it if you use Zip. :thumb: ). Then, go to yousendit.com, click on file to upload, choose file, and send it.

2. Upload the mp3s one at a time. Go to yousendit.com, click choose file, choose file, and click send it.

No need to worry about email addresses.

Oh, and make http hxxp, to prevent against blocked links.

You deffinetly should. "Jaktens Tid" is the album in my avatar, and "Nattfodd" is another really good album of theirs I've heard.

"Jaktens Tid" is what lead me to start the Folk/Viking Metal thread :)

I picked up a Virgin Steele promo, [I]The Book of Burning[/I], at my local cd shop (which is closing down due to poor business, so it was having a clearance sale). This is some good shi.t., I recommend everyone to check out some VIRGIN STEEEEEEELE.
