My knowledge of emo doesn't go very far. I dig on some Rite of Spring, Envy, Saetia, and Orchid though.

People say Coheed & Cambria are emo, if so then they are really the only one I like.

I HATE Hawthorne Heights, The Used, My Chemical Romance and others. I find their vocals, song writing, and lyrics pathetic.

Yeah, that's my thoughts on SDRS too. And some others of the genre, but it's all a matter of opinions.

All of them are really good bands.

no, emo is what they call it, if by "they" you mean anyone who actually knows what they mean by saying emo. those would be the same people who would tell you that none of the bands you mentioned are emo. because none of the bands you mentioned are emo.
