Dancin' Man 09-07-2004 02:11 PM

Wooowee. Bartender almost passed me on posts in this thread. He was only 1 away when I returned.

Bartender 09-07-2004 02:13 PM

I'd better get posting then. You probably mentioned it as you left, and I just missed it, but, where've you been?

Armor O'Malley 09-07-2004 02:26 PM
The N64 emulator was always dodgy for me, because it only worked with Voodoo chipsets or something at the time, and I've always been NVidia. Plus nobody has a controller like that on their PC (well, probably most people don't).
Yeh I too could never get N64 emulators to work on my PC, I tried loads too, Project64 and such. Someday I will play Goldeneye on my PC, I promise you that. :)

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 02:27 PM

Oh man that game was so dope. I remember playing for 8 hours straight one day. We barely stopped to eat. It was ridiculous.

Armor O'Malley 09-07-2004 02:32 PM

Oh yeh, few years ago I went up to a friends house and we spent all day playing that game. Ya can't beat good old 'one hit kill'.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 02:33 PM

License to kill! That's what we used to play...with pistols. 0wnige.

halfdeadhippo 09-07-2004 02:37 PM

I used to play that game all the time at my friend's house. It was awesome. But then he sold his N64. :upset:

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 02:44 PM

WTF is up with your avatar man?

That scared the shyt out of me.

halfdeadhippo 09-07-2004 02:52 PM

I edited it in Adobe Imageready so that every ten seconds, it flashes this picture.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 02:56 PM

Oh.

Well, it still scared the shyt out of me. That's not safe...I could go crazy at my work and stalk from cubicle to cubicle with a rusty letter opener, killing and maiming at my leisure.

****...I need a joint :upset:

superpeer 09-07-2004 03:22 PM

Kingofdudes 09-07-2004 03:25 PM

snes emulator

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 03:29 PM

Actually I recommend http://www.suprnova.org

For sheer quantity of games (ROMS).

Bartender 09-07-2004 04:37 PM
Has neone seen braindead?
Braindead as in "I kick arse for the Lord!"?

Or am I thinking of some completely different?

Armor O'Malley 09-07-2004 04:42 PM

I'm sure he means that, and you've just quoted by far the best part of the entire movie, end of discussion. :)

Bartender 09-08-2004 08:52 AM

So...good morning, everyone. Anyone here?

It's good to find people with a liking for B-movies, by the way.

Armor O'Malley 09-08-2004 09:01 AM

Good afternoon ;)

Personally I love low budget movies and cult movies. Saw Repo Man recently, and it rocked hard.

Paranoidd 09-08-2004 09:14 AM

*strech*

Good morning...afternoon...wherever you are.

I'm at work. Whats new?

Just finished listening to the Dream Theather concert cover of the Master of Puppets album. Everyone rocked it, except LaBrie.

Had to bring my stupid guitar into the shop last night. Unbelieveable, that a loose connection is not covered under warranty. The guy didn't charge me any labor though, so I guess that is OK. Still had to pay for the part. I saw this beautiful Epi Semi-hollow there, but it was like three grand and I was too scared to touch it.

The funny thing was seeing this guy who had obviously done too many drugs in his time, stumbling around the store, he couldn't form a proper sentence, his speech was slurred, and the salesman was reluctant to let him try a guitar.

But when he did....holy smokes...the guy was wailing on that thing. Seriously, I don't even think this guy could have tied his shoes by himself, and he was playing some cool stuff. Weird.

I just saw Willard last night (the remake, not the original) and it was great. Not low budget (financed by New Line Cinema, so it cost quite a bit), but it's definitely a B/cult minded movie. And it has Crispin Glover, who's just an awesome actor.

Well it's technically afternoon for me (4:17pm), but I only got up an hour or so ago, so good morning. I'm at home, as I have no work.

I think I saw that Dream Theater thing on eBay a while ago. Is it the Master of Metallica thing?

How much did the part cost?

Paranoidd 09-08-2004 09:32 AM

The part was 6 bucks, but I could have bought strings with that.

I know, I'm a cheap bastard.

The Dream Theater thing is a live cover of the entire MOP album...I just downloaded it and burned it, I usually don't buy something unless I'm sure I'll like it. It's pretty good, Petrucci is on (of course) but LaBrie just doesn't suit the music. His voice lacks high-end but thats due to the recording. Not a bad listen though.

Who doesn't want to hear Myung do Orion?

Bartender 09-08-2004 10:04 AM

Well I could live without it. Myung is a fantastic bassist though.

Paranoidd 09-08-2004 10:10 AM

I wish I had drums :(

This weekend I made a drum kit out of cans, bottles, glasses, and a pack of smokes for a snare. I had some of my friends holding up water bottles with different amounts of water to get different sounds. It sounded so dope.

Drums = teh expensive :(

Bartender 09-08-2004 10:12 AM

All you ever need is a chair. I can't remember exactly how that works, but Toozey could fill you in on it.

Paranoidd 09-08-2004 10:15 AM

I'm confuzzled.

Bartender 09-08-2004 10:16 AM

Chair drumming. I'll try and find somewhere where it's explained.
