i just saw slipknot on the 9th, ive seen 6 slipknot shows and this one was by far the best. bigger, longer set and they seemed alot more talented because of the new music probably. the only thing that sucked is that they didnt play Eyeless, and that Chris had like a broken leg or something and was just standing by his set the whole time or hobbling around a bit

Huber 03-11-2005 03:03 PM

He was off the European tour. Chris that is.

Sleeper 03-11-2005 03:42 PM

Does anyone know how he broke it?

they played "Get This" which is alot like purity, its the album version i think, pretty much same music but some differant lyrics and stuff i think

You are confusing "Get This" with "Despise" or "Me Inside". Those two songs have similar features to Purity.

Barring some sort of disaster (read: sellout) between now and Monday, I am going to be seeing Slipknot (+ All That Remains, Shadows Fall and Lamb of God) this Friday. Oh yeah, I can't wait, and you can bet I'll be reviewing it after I get back :D

I haven't paid the best attention, but has anyone else in the thread caught them on this tour?

I have only heard great things about it from other sites.

Well with some of the best new age metal bands together, you have to expect a great show. If only they had Mastodon and System of a Down, then the tour would be completely perfect.

The JoZ 03-12-2005 09:33 PM

I just heard some Mastodon on the radio last night, it was pretty bitchin...

Sleeper 03-12-2005 09:38 PM

Ive been trying to download the drum solo from the VOL3 tour, No luck so far. All the sites that have "links", dont work. If anyone has a video of the drum solo post it.

Well, Friday is only about 23 hours away now...:p
