Yeah. If you post "omg leik clalssic rawk is the best ever, i love classic rock!1!!!!!!!!!" ****ing post in this thread. Wow badmoon got all of those. *cough* google *cough* |
It took me some time, and I used google for two songs.
Lol, i was lazy, i should have used google =P
DVG. |
I like Queen, Led Zeppelin, the Who, AC/DC, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, and Aerosmith.(Older Aerosmith like "Sweet Emotion")
modern rock is just reincarnations of all the bands that came before it, creating a melding pot of the most popular of the classic rock bands, but popified to fit the general audiance, so the original is always better, yay classic rock
Classic rock is my fave, and there's a few people in my class who are starting to like it too. Led Zep and The Who are my favorites, but the doors, Jimi Hendrix, CSNY, and Aeorsmith are awesome too.
How popular is steppenwolf outside of canada? Because i've never really thought of them as being that big but they did have a few big hits and they make great music.
^ Well, here (Illinois) they are pretty well known, and most will know a song or two.
"Born to Be Wild", "Magic Carpet Ride", and "Wild Thing" are 3 of the most used songs in movies and comercials ever.
^Yeah. Mostly car commercials.
Hey badmoon, where do you live in Illinois, relatively?
Orland Park, which is about an hour away from Chicago :)
Are you the from the same?
I live in Villa Park about 20 mins from Chicago.
Are you going to that loop concert July 4th (I think) with The Doors and ZZ Top and some other bands?
Maybe, I seen ZZtop last year with Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Ted Nugent. Though, I have never seen The Doors. So, maybe.
Most the concerts the Loop sponsors and runs are pretty good and fun. Though the channel is getting extremely repetitive. |
Wait...Will it be at Tweeter? If not where?
Yeah I would love to see The Doors but I don't think it would be worth it without Jim Morrison. Anyways tickets for that show are long since sold out, but apparently theyre doing it all again the 20th.
I don't know I didn't actually plan on putting up the money to go so I never bothered to find out.
Stepphenwolf is like the band for all the bikies out there, along with blue oyster cult.
DVG. |
Not to sound stupid, but "bikies"?
^ Nor have I ever heard this way.
EDIT:Wait, it was a typo and he probably ment "Bikers". |
Oh. Well that makes sense then.
hehe anyone heard of gearheads? apparently they're like deadheads but for BTO i think it was, i'd never heard of them until there was this radio program on CBC about them.
you know nothing you fool :smash:
^ Leave, unless your kidding
Well, Phish's final album came out yesterday. I gave it a listen, and it is probably the most diverse album they put out. I personally love it. |
IMO KISS is the greatest classic rock band of them all!!!!!!!!!!
Led Zeppelin
the best classic rock band ever:
