they did the melodeath riffing thing way better on this album than the last one, even though mowgli has one of the coolest riffs they've ever written in it

i dont listen to vom for riffs

brandon is one of my fave vocalists in terms of writing hooks, and ofc their songs have good energy

they're not deathcore at all because they don't breakdown anything, they keep momentum up instead of putting in shitty half time garbage
