This album looks like another BNW to me, some songs might just drag on for too long.......
i really dont know if im happy about what i have seen or saddened(sp?).
Im quite worried to be honest. :(

3 Smith/Harris/Dickinson combos, i love songs written by Adrian and Bruce, and obviously by Steve.
shame Nicko hasn't written anything for this album though, although maybe he did the B-sides or something.

Apparently 'the longest day'(radio edit)will be their first single butof course this is just a rumour on a maiden forum so you never know.

in one of the diaries, i thought Kevin Shirley said that the opener was going to be the single, but i might be wrong.

You're probably right since almost every maiden album has the oppening track as a their first single.

Anyway i just noticed that the last two albums also had death in their titles. Do you think maiden may be using the word death a little bit too excessively?

The names sound a bit Progressive.

How can you doubt Maiden? Its like...doubting that the sun will come up or something. I love how Maiden are getting so Proggy. September seems so far away!

Not very maiden, i figured it was just something they'd stuck on the page, but i've not really liked the artwork since FotD

There's no way that's the album cover. It looks pretty cool though, and realistically, anything is better than DoD.

That artwork sucks to be quite frank. I'll be dissapointed if that is what appears on the front of the new album.

I think its their best art work to date to be honest, and i hope it does make the cover. I havn't been a fan of any of the art on their previous albums except for maybe BNW.

I hope you arent really serious about that. That's the worst maiden album cover IMO.

It's better than X Factor artwork. Now [I]that[/I] was terrible.

No i am being serious. Of course it's just my oppinion but i prefer simplistic artwork to pictures with too much going on. I think like just a simple logo or illustration on a blank or simple background is nice.

The whole thing doesn't seem very Maiden-ish to me, but as long as the songs are good i really don't care:p

Im betting the concept will be about a war (maybe the second world war). Seeing as how the title is actually a title for a war movie(maybe 2nd world war movie, i forgot :(). Plus the track ''the longest day" is also a title for a a 2nd world war movie.


On the artwork subject, that piece of artwork will most probably the first single artwork.

That isn't the artwork, trust me Steve Harris would never allow it.

I can't make out the story through the song titles, but that artwork doesn't seem like it will fit.
