Yes its James, but your right, it doesn't sound exactally the same as he did on the previous CDs.

Enter Sandman doesn't grow on me, it just annoys me as to the fact of how much it is played on the radio.

In my opinion, everything about it is ****. And it annoys me that song, which is probably their worst in my opinion, gets all radio play.

It's the [B]only[/B] Metallica song I will purposely skip.

I skip Enter Sandman, The Thing That Should Not Be, and Leper Messiah

I love Leper Messiah, and to a lesser extent, Enter Sandman.

But I never skip songs.

It has awesome riffs, better riffs then anything they've released since Master of Puppets, to be honest.
The drums are good, just they sound bad, but if you can get past the sound they are good.
The singing isn't that great, but how old are Metallica now, you cannot be so ignorant as to expect every album to have Ride The Lightning sounding vocals.
There is nothing wrong with the bass, in fact the bass is better then anything from Load/ReLoad era.

The lack of solos? Since Master Kirk's solos have sounded like **** anyway. Of course there have been a few songs where he has written a good solo, but the majority has been ****.
