hm, strange things are happening at my end

1st download attempt i get a message saying ''unexpected end of archive'' and i can't open any of the files.

2nd download attempt i get the same message but there are now only 2 files in the folder. anyone know what the hell is going on:confused:

ysi did it to me the other day with the PM mailing list, i can't remember how i sorted it though :confused:

EDIT: it doesn't download enough, says "Download Finished" at random amounts, like 12.1mb instead of the full 17.4mb. then you get the "Unexpected end of archive" message when you open it.

EDIT2: Ash, with that programme i sent you, you can select & convert multiple files at once, just in case you're doing them individually :p

heh...just do it as though you're selecting a load of files to cut & paste or whatever, by ctrl+clicking them, then rightclicking.

anyway, your NOTB download finally worked for me! yay!

bah, i havn't heard the DOTR version of Paschendale, but i saw them do it that tour, and it was way better live than on the album.

shame Blaze didn't make it through to the polls, but at least Paul did - there was never any doubt about Bruce getting through!

Hay I was just listening to Hallowed be they Name (for about the 100th time - I love it to bits) and noticed this riff after the solo with a rhythm bit and then syncopation across the bar line. The riff is repeated 3 times. Now, this riff prolly stands out as being the worst part of the song to me. Normally Maiden uses synocopation across the bar line a lot and it fits really well, but this doesn't fit so well (even if it does flow on to the next part of the song nicely). Don't you think that when they first recorded the song, they would have played it back and thought, hang on a sec, this riff doesn't sound very good? What's that bit doing in the song???

I never noticed it to be honest, so it can't be that bad.

Besides, that song is perfect.
