DogInTheSand is right. If I was a pit mod, I'd go mad with power.

It'd be brutal if I became a R & M mod.
An angsty, power hungry Canadian is very scary.

*power-crazy canadian_guy: "ALL YOU FUCKERS ARE BANNED NYAAAA NYAAA!!!!!"*

*multiple threads are made calling for Canadian's demodding*

*catastrophe ensues*

*r/m is deleted*

*the rest of mx follows*

If Mods in R&M weren't brutal, that forum would fall to anarchy within seconds.

He's on holiday I think, I'm pretty sure that's why he said he couldn't go to the Sigur Rós gig when we were talking about it a while ago.

What does everyone here think of the arcade fire?

Canadian-Guy 07-13-2005 02:11 PM

They're pretty good.

RockISdead420 07-13-2005 02:12 PM

I never really liked them. Just came off kinda boring to me.

The Ashtray Girl 07-13-2005 03:11 PM

JonM 07-13-2005 03:20 PM

They're the most over-acclaimed band since the Elephant-era White Stripes, but they're still not half bad.

ATM 07-13-2005 03:29 PM

Daniel! 07-13-2005 03:43 PM

I just whipped out some old Tom Scott records, that's good stuff.

Luxor 07-13-2005 04:14 PM

I haven't been on in a few days... Did a huge thread/a bunch of threads get deleted or something? Because I remember my post count being higher.

Bartender 07-13-2005 04:25 PM

zero went through the archives and deleted a few threads.

Glitterati 07-13-2005 05:26 PM
zero went through the archives and deleted a few threads.
Hmm. Another mod privelege.

Iai 07-13-2005 06:19 PM

Y'all know he just deleted that rap thread to cover up his REAL crime - deleting his guitar improv thread. Scott Herren must be gutted, he made his MX name on that thread!

Ah well. We still have the Scott Herren thread. :)

Anyway, book discussions.....

A Clockwork Orange takes a lot of getting used to, but I love it. And I love the hell out of Harry Potter, and can't wait for the new one. I don't have it pre-ordered though, because I'm going to buy it from Asda like all the other non-morons.

Zmev 07-13-2005 06:25 PM

Getting my bass fixed tomorrow, dodgeball game friday, worked out today (squatting now at 200 lbs and counting  ).

If you put the text down a little bit so it actually points to your avatar, it would be the best post ever as well.

I don't even know what Asda is. Does that still make me a moron?

Iai 07-13-2005 06:34 PM

As long as you live outside the UK, no.

It's a supermarket. Don't know what you call those wherever you live.
