I also stopped going there >_>
I didn't have time for a forum that pretty much did the same thing as mx with less people. |
Yeah, I think I've completely cleaned them out, I would just order from amazon but someone gave me a gift certificate. But I have all thats needed from Dark Angel, Exodus, Destruction, Dark Angel, Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Overkill, Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Destroyer 666, Exhorder, Coroner, Annihilator, Watchtower, Morbid Saint, Sacrifice, Heathen, Early Iced Earth, Forbidden, Exumer, Hypnosia, Sauron, Dekapitator, Early Atheist, Vio-lence, Testament, Tankard, Sodom, Razor, Sabbat, Megadeth, Metal Church(sort of), Municipal Waste and D.R.I. So anything thrash(preferably death/thrash like Hypnosia) would be nice.
thats quite the list. good stuff. |
Welcome. Nice user title :D

234 posts from me, not bad. :)
What do you guys think of Chakal? ...And Terrorzone, you're going to want to check out Ravage (Ger) and Deathchain. |
928
I haven't heard of Chakal, good? I actually haven't checked out a new thrash band for a few months now :O NP: Anthrax - Caught In A Mosh Stomp stomp stomp, the idiot convention! |
Does anyone happen to know what is being said backwards in Possesessed's Pentagram?
|
I didn't know there was something being said backward >_>
:embarrassed: I was going to do a write-up on Possessed ages ago. Maybe on day I'll get around to it and ask Med if it could be a FA. Possessed deserve an FA. |

I need to give them another couple of listens to really have an opinion though. Possessed definetly deserve a FA, and a really long and good one at that. :) |
Mmmm, yes. I remember when I put Possessed on at a party and everyone was like "Wow, cool, the Exorcist theme tune".
Then it started and everyone was covering their ears. Bunch of puffs. |
Then it started and everyone was covering their ears. Bunch of puffs.
Poofs* ;) |
Poofs*
;)
I say puffs, son. Cause that's how hard northerners (such as myself) say it back in blighty. Not like you bloody nancy boy, fairy ticklers! |
Puffs, eh?
I haven't heard that one before. Probably cause I'm not a pom. ^_^ |
You australians make me giggle.
Long live the south! Man I hooked my girl into Exodus today, I'm so proud :D |

Well done on the Exodus thing though. Generally it takes me quite a while to get girls into my music, unless they're very open... minded. NP: King Diamond - The Storm |
Merry Christmas everyone! What did you all get?
I got Judas Pirest - Unleashed in the East :thumb: I'll be away now for a week, so happy new year to you all as well! |

NP: King Diamond - The Storm
Hey, sum'bitch I happen to love Skynyrd! :p (quick backround check on me: I was born in KY, raised most of my life in CA, and moved back here after being kicked out by my parents. So I'm only have a southerner I guess  I don't care, I love my heritage. And no my family ain't full of rednecks hahaha) Yeah, she really loves my band (go figure, I play in it haha) and she says she has opened up to metal more. Plus the first time we scrogged, "Toxic Waltz" was on the radio hahahaha ok that was TMI but whatever. I plan on gettin' her more into thrash as the days go by. /teh r00l |
THE HAUNTED heads off to Japan & Australia February/March 2006 as the last segment of their world tour for rEVOLVEr. Here are the dates:
THE HAUNTED HEADLINE TOUR AUSTRALIA (Support: Exodus) March 05 2006 - Perth (Heat) March 06 2006 - Melbourne (Hifi Bar) March 07 2006 - Sydney (The Forum) March 08 2006 - Brisbane (The Arena)
DAMMIT This is a dilemma. I really, really want to see Exodus, but I don't want to pay what will most likely be at least $40 to see Exodus play a handful of songs, not to mention the unbelieveable amount of goth kiddies that infest Australian shows. They were even fagging it up at Nile for fuck sake. |
Hmm... not much better here at the states. Gigantour was painful until DT left (All the goths left after them so i finally enjoyed the show) either that or the fact that LaBrie sounds like horseshit every time he sings live.
|
The only gig I've been to here which didn't have goth kiddies was Megadeth.
Bodom had them (though this was no suprise), Nile had them (wtf?) and Dungeon (a Power Metal band!!) had them. |

I once dated a goth. She liked Dream Theater. wtf?
Personally I don't see too many goth kiddies here. I used to hang out with the wannabe goths. They dressed stereotypically. All black, gothic wardrobe, the makeup, and stuff. I was like...ok. They were still really nice to me. However, about this issue of the goth kids invading the shows, I don't get it. I think they find some "escape" to get away from...everyone hating them. Goth kids at a DT, Nile and Dungeon concert? That's just weird... Nile isn't even close to goth. I guess they all want to hop aboard the "Goth Kiddies Who Want To Be Cool So Listen to 'Metal' and Don't Complain" bandwagon. Sheesh. People are so strange now. |

Uh, Gigantour was painful after DT left. Megadeth blew cock, mosdef. What a boring performance. refl, my friend fell asleep during their set. :amaze: |
