Dude. Mario Golf was sweet.

Equus 01-06-2008 03:57 PM

i was a Kirby master when i was a young'n
I used to have Dr. Mario on the original Nintendo. My Dad loved the **** out of that game for some reason.
my mom played that game all the time

Thanks 01-06-2008 03:57 PM

I hate reminiscing.

asdf 01-06-2008 03:58 PM

I think my hatred of Mario Golf comes from the fact that when my dad and his friend played it, it meant that me and my other friends couldn't play Earth Worm Jim or super C or what have you. And at that time I barely played video games, but those were more interesting to watch than golf.
I've never heard of that before...I don't believe it.

When you beat kirby and king DeeDeeDee is all pissed off and shocked it tells you that at the start menu if you press up select B you get a tougher game. I guess you didn't sit and watch the kirby hot air balloon the whole time after winning.

Edit: it might be down select B

Equus 01-06-2008 04:01 PM

it never said that for me and i watched the whole thing several times

ATM 01-06-2008 04:03 PM

Have you guys ever heard Rovo?

asdf 01-06-2008 04:07 PM
it never said that for me and i watched the whole thing several times
I swear it does, otherwise I don't know how I knew about it as a kid.

If I had my gameboy and kirby here I would have a picture of it in a half hour.

Anxious 01-06-2008 04:13 PM

I don't remember that either. Hmmm

asdf 01-06-2008 04:18 PM

Well that explains it...I was thinking of Kirby's Adventure for the NES.

Tyr 01-06-2008 04:24 PM

That line-up is good, but I don't like Bardo Pond that much.

Anxious 01-06-2008 04:25 PM

Bardo Pond are kings. What albums have you heard?

Tyr 01-06-2008 04:30 PM

I haven't heard any whole albums, just some random songs. I think one of them is called Fish Song?

Equus 01-06-2008 04:30 PM

i would go if i could

Anxious 01-06-2008 04:35 PM

Zmev 01-06-2008 04:36 PM

Oh awesome a bunch of people I've never heard of.

In Kentucky.

Tyr 01-06-2008 04:37 PM
"Be a Fish", its an okay song. You should get Set and Setting
Is that an album? If so, I'm on it right away.

Anxious 01-06-2008 04:38 PM

The biggest names in neopsychedelia in Kentucky just doesn't fit...

I don't know about the rest of Kentucky but Louisville seems rather cool actually.
I don't know about the rest of Kentucky but Louisville seems rather cool actually.
All I know about the south is what I've seen on the Simpsons.

Kayetan 01-06-2008 10:57 PM

Louisville is kind of good

asdf 01-06-2008 11:03 PM

All I know about Louisville I learned from driving through it to and from Bonnaroo twice, and from meeting some really cool art students from there at a big tire swing.

Which is probably less reliable than the simpsons.

AndreTheHyena 01-07-2008 12:05 AM

The South rules, except for all of the hundreds of years of hate and oppression.

Glitterati 01-07-2008 06:53 AM

I assume in the south that they all drive red chargers and have hootenannys on a regular basis.
