The best juice I've had around here costs $5 a bottle. After I realised that I never drank it again. It's cheaper to buy energy drinks than juice, go figure.

sup bass guys, i have a question real quick

my friend is getting this amp from craigslist (http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/msg/1999319581.html) and i know a little bit about guitar amp specs but i'm not too certain. he's picking it up for 75 dollars, is this a good deal? he'd probably be using it for recording and jamming, and maybe the occasional gig. if he does happen to gig with it, we'd probably mic it and run it through a PA. thoughts?

1. I approve of Zooey Deschanel
2. It's a fair price. Not a great deal, but not a rip-off.
3. I had the BX100, and it was good, but even it had a hard time cutting through a mix of a drummer and a guitar. He will probably need to angle it upward so that he can hear it best. Also, the other members might have to be weary of their volume and a good EQ will be required all around (guitars turn down their bass, bassists turn up his mids). I don't know what type of music he plays, but it might be under-powered. I usually recommend 300W+ for live use.

That would also be super awesome. Bobby McFerrin brings back wonderful memories. I remember our music teacher playing him in grade two and we were all just giggling our silly little asses off... but everytime I hear his stuff it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Don't you currently use a BF 2x15? And will it have an 8-ohm load as well so that you can chain the two together?

I sold the Barefaced cab cuz I ended up never using it. Just took up too much room for something that didn't sound that different from my Schroeder. Matamp were doing a totally sweet deal on these 610s though so I couldn't resist. It's actually 8 ohms as well, not 6.7 or some shit, so I'm happy using it with a valve head.

How tall is the 610? You could make quite a compact 610 I reckon.

I'm thinking about getting an Aguilar DB112 in boss tweed for when I only need a smaller rig at a joint or a practise.

I worry though, that it would be not enough speaker in basically every rock rehearsal and gig I do.

I don't think Matamp do compact or small :p But it's 36 inches tall apparently.

And yeah, I'm with you on the small cab thing - I don't want to let go of my Schroeder just incase I need a small cab :/ I wouldn't mind a Tiny Terror or something too for when i don't fancy lugging my GT200 around.
