I know the renown maple has 30 degree bearing edges, where as the Catalina maple has 45. Although having different edges is more a matter of preference than a difference in quality. The renown also has "the Gretsch Silver Sealer inside all drums", although I have no idea what difference that makes to the sound.

that stuff and the mounting system on the Renowns is a little nicer.
The silver sealer is supposed to make the drums project more.

i dont have school...my sleep schedule has been messed up between working nights, having 3 days off and being sick. I haven't slept much since monday

Nice man. I personally would have just kept sleeping unless I had to get up for work, but my sleep schedule is stupidly flexible for the most part, if I'm tired enough.

we have our big concert coming up, and one of the girls in our group sent out a mass invitation to basically everyone we know, but in the invitation she made it sound like an event for 6-year-olds. so everyone was like "fuk that i'm not going to that" and now i can't reinvite them and show them the posters and the band list and make it actually sound like it's worth coming to.

i'm counting on you, word-of-mouth.
