Don't talk to him like that, he made this thread and therefore he is better than you, also AC/DC is pretty one dimensional.
That's exactly what I was going to say. I like the WYWH. And don't kid yourself, all of AC/DC's songs sound the same. Their "blues" songs are just their "rock" ones slowed down. They're all based off the same scales. |
You want to know what the other dimemsions are of AC/DCjust lisson to one album by them. They have blues songs such as The Jack or ride on, they have hard rock songs such as For Those About To Rock or Back In Black and they even have songs with no lyrics such as Chase The Ace. I told you the other dimensions are so you can go shave your back now.
Okay, since all their songs are Blues Rock, no. The guitar playing easily shows that. And my god, a song without lyrics! They must be insane  |
^That just proves that AC/DC is not one dimensional
|
Well, if you'd count something that small, I guess. Still, sadly enough, I could not name a band that lacks as much dimension as them. Of course but bands who try to copy them, for whatever they have that would ever want to be copied. Which is hardly anything.
|
Nobody can insult ac/dc. It's the law of classic rock.
Keep your mouths shut on the issue. Nobody really cares. You can have your opinion but that's it. Needless flaming +1 |
^I hope youre joking.

Who cares if they don't play psychedelic, jazz, blues, bluesgrass influenced music or whatever. A band doesn't have to play lots of different types of music and styles Ac/dc is one of the best bands in the world and they've done it by having the same sort of sound from day 1. |
^Why won't you stop being a ****in hypocrite. You yourself have said they've sucked for months, without even giving a reason. And no they don't have to play a million types of music, but when you're saying band is very dimensional, and they have released the same album a dozen somthing times, your more wrong then right.
|
I've had a change of heart on the subject of ac/dc, obviously
I find that if they're good, they're good. Nobody cares if they're one dimensional or not, and calling them that it pointless. |
Plus, you still continue to insult Kiss, because they don't hit you technical standards.
Nobody cares if they're one dimensional or not, and calling them that it pointless.
Except a few of the regulars here, making that statement not true at all. |
Ooo, my bad. He actually said that they had lots of dimensions.. I was arguing that ac/dc is good when the subject was if they're diverse.
He's wrong then. :smash: But the ac/dc bashing must stop in general. On a side note, w00t. I just got tickets to see the Beatles experience. Time to watch people who aren't the Beatles try to be the Beatles :chug: |

I am not that big of a fan but my parents are. |

You must be well known around the school for spreading one of the most famous songs ever around. |
Sweet sweet livewired sarcasm :). How i've missed it.
Van Halen is alright. Lynyrd Skynrd is awesome. Though I've been meaning to get some more of their albums. Since I only have a best of album of theirs. |

I couldnt really get in to them. My dad likes them but I only like a few of their tunes. Badmoon-Did you only do 2 reviews when I was banned? |
why am i not surprised that someone with the name AC/DC Fan is freaking out because he just found out they are one dimensional.
im not gonna lie, i am a huge AC/DC fan. i own about ten of their albums, and angus young was the reason i picked up a guitar...but lets face it, they are one dimensional. anyone who can't see that is just blind to the truth. im not saying their not good, because i love their music, but they had about as many different songs as they had letters in their name. |

i like your avatar schyma, and i wish i could go to toronto to see the eagles. they arent one of my favourite bands, but they are probably one of my favourite bands that are still touring. im sure the tickets will be expensive though.
are they going to anywhere else in canada? the prairies? |
It's not like one dimensional when you sound that good is a bad thing.
If I want diverse music i'll listen to alot of different bands. |

I have 10 albums too. I used to think they we're soo good at guitar and made me get one. They introduced me to classic rock. |

I got an email from the classic rock station from Toronto.(I live 2 hours away) saying that they were coming. I dont think the tickets were that expensive. I think some were like $60 but that could be for cheap seats. |
Does anyone like the Animals? They were part of the San Fransico pyscheldic movement.
I was listening to a song by them I think itwas called Warm San Fransico Night or something. It was good, especially the talking part at the start of it. |
60 bucks aint bad, i paid 65 for alice cooper. i think all the tickets were like the same price though, because i was second row, and i paid the same as someone in the far back balcony.
they were asking like 112 for van halen when they came not too long ago. im not that big of a fan so i didnt go. me and my friends are gonna take a road trip to either calgary, edmonton, or toronto depending on where the next big concert is. probably not the eagles though. if i knew sooner about jethro tull i woulda went to that. |
