I saw Juno and it was okay. It wasn't funny per se, but I enjoyed watching it. I would totally [B]f[/B]uck her though.

I felt creepy looking at the ads and thinking "oh she's kind of cute, but she can't be older than sixteen" then I found out she was born in 1987 so :cool:

You should watch Hard Candy man her character in that is so hot.

She's just creepy in that film.

Agreed. I loved that part at the funeral when "Strangers" by the Kinks was playing, I can't get enough of that song.

Wes Anderson really likes the Kinks, I think.

Yeah he seems to have a knack for picking really interesting and fitting music for his films.

I didn't like [i]Rushmore[/i] at all except for the pool scene, soundtracked by the Kinks.

Rushmore was pretty meh I thought. Not awful, but just an average film. Bill Murray is good, but meh.

rushmore has more than a few above average elements

Yeah I got that feeling too.

btw, I still think [I]Rushmore[/I] is Wes Anderson's best film.

Listen to how [I]indie[/I] this page is.

He has one of the most acurate and defined style today, both visually and in story telling, which many have tried to emulate, and has quite the knack for putting that across. Other than that he gets his dick sucked way too much. There are a bunch of other great directors out there, do yourself a favor and don't get hung up on Wes Anderson. Oh and The Royal Tenebaums is his only good film.

I like the Life Aquatic.

Anderson's pretty overrated, but [i]The Life Aquatic[/i] does rule. I'd like to see the new one.

(Slow-motion + The Kinks + British Folk) x emotionally stunted man-child = [I]style[/I]

the one big thing i dont like about Wes Anderson is how everyone's always smoking in his movies. i dont hate smoking in general, but its so overabundant in his films that it becomes a distraction for me.

also his movies are the images i associate with modern indie/twee rock/folk/junk

never seen any of his stuff.

[I]The Life Aquatic[/I] seems to get better with every viewing

All the smoking is to let you know his characters are sophisticated and/or above the age of 18.

[I]The Life Aquatic[/I] is fantastic, but [I]The Royal Tenenbaums[/I] is pretty average, I think.

I only like Rushmore and Darjeeling Limited. Life Aquatic and Bottle Rocket both pretty much suck, and Royal Tenenbaums is meh.

I want to see [I]Darjeeling Limited[/I].
