The Smiths - S/T The Stooges - Raw Power Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot The Long Winters - When I Pretend To Fall |
Riverside. They're pretty cool.
I really like that record too.
ooo, me too :D
Been Diggin' Pixies for the first time in a few months. |
Jurassic 5 - Quality Control
This is quite possibly the first hip-hop album I ever heard, and I haven't listened to it for a couple of years for some reason. Very enjoyable stuff. |
Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains - Anarchy Means I Hate You
Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains - Caught in the Act of Not Being Awesome Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains - Easter Sunday Hangover Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains - RAW Awesome folk-punk full of fantastic lyrics about drunkeness and disillusionment with a real fuck off attitude. |
They sound positively spiffing. I'll check 'em out. Give me a few song suggestions.

Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains - Caught in the Act of Not Being Awesome
Please tell me this is their best album. I'll just end up trying to get it because of the name anyway. |

Ok Computer |
Horrible city in so cal, though.
My gov't teacher is from there. /irrelevant I have been digging The Great Destroyer by Low. |
I stayed in Riverside once, it did seem pretty suck.
Prefuse73 and now Leonard Cohen. |
My gov't teacher is from there.
/irrelevant I have been digging The Great Destroyer by Low.
Yea I love that album too. |
Yeah Now I Got Worry is fairly sweet. It's gathering dust on my shelf somewhere.
It's like right in between their completely chaotic early stuff and their more mainstream new records. I think that album is pretty damn awesome. |
I stayed in Riverside once, it did seem pretty suck.
Prefuse73 and now Leonard Cohen.
Some of the other cities in the surrounding areas are worse. Perris = worst city ever. |
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak |
Billy Bragg - Talking with the Taxman about Poetry
|
Ghostface Killah - Fishscale
My second attempt to thoroughly get into his solo material |
I am slowly developing the opinion that Highly Refined Pirates is the superior album from Minus The Bear. Although I still haven't completely remembered which songs fit which goofy titles, I think "Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo" is a fantastic song, as is "Let's Play Guitar In A Five Guitar Band."
|
The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?
Who will? |
All the albums of Logh (especially "yellow lights mean slow down not spped up".. and "a sunset panorama") a really great indie band from sweden..
Low frequency in stereo, another great band (especially playing live) from Norway.. their new album is coming out soon.. discover it! |
I checked out The Modern Lovers.
Wasn't impressed. |
2 Many DJ's are fun to listen to.
|
"Temptation" by New Order is the most amazing song.

It's fantastic, but I haven't heard anything bad they've done. It's a live EP and it's available (under a different name) here. |
