I read about that a few years ago in a Guitar World, 2002 I think.
Steve Miller would be cool.

So were you asking who Noel Redding was?

I may have to get a new avatar.

magicbus 11-20-2004 11:16 AM

Noel Redding was in a band with Hendrix. ( I wanna say bassist for The Experience, but don't flame me if I get it wrong.)

EDIT: He's the guy on the left in your new avatar.

Yea he was the bassist, and a **** good one too. I love the bass line to Freedom.

magicbus 11-20-2004 11:20 AM

Yea I just wasn't sure if he was in The Experience or Band of Gypsies, but I think Schyma's avatar confirmed it.

jpj 11-20-2004 11:22 AM

The bassist for Band of Gypsies was Billy Cox, I think Noel quit the band for some reason.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-20-2004 11:25 AM

Wow really I knew I herd his name before but....I never knew the other members of the Expirence all I knew were Band of the Gypsys were Buddy Miles and Cox.

AC/DC fan 11-20-2004 11:39 AM
i wouldn't call van halen entirely one dimensional. i mean u can't even compare "hot for teacher" with "i can't stop loving u". but ac/dc is pretty one dimensional.

so what are the best classic rocks u've seen live? mine are the doors (even without morrison they were really good), the allman bros, the doobie bros, and joe cocker. those guys all put on great memorable shows.
AC/DC is not one dimensional. you have no clue what one dimensional is do you?

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-20-2004 11:40 AM

Only found it in this size.

jpj 11-20-2004 11:45 AM

Don't talk to him like that, he made this thread and therefore he is better than you, also AC/DC is pretty one dimensional.

AC/DC fan 11-20-2004 11:49 AM

I can talk to him however the f**k I want to.

I say whatever I want to say and I don't give a f**k what you think.

eghed 11-20-2004 12:16 PM

Can you tell us what these multiple dimensions of ACDC ARE?

Badmoon 11-20-2004 12:24 PM

Hey jackass, ACDC is one of the most one dimensional bands I can think of. They only offer one thing that is unique. Simplistic playing. Why is that unique? Other bands actually have talent.

jpj 11-20-2004 12:25 PM

AC/DC fan 11-20-2004 12:38 PM

You want to know what the other dimemsions are of AC/DCjust lisson to one album by them. They have blues songs such as The Jack or ride on, they have hard rock songs such as For Those About To Rock or Back In Black and they even have songs with no lyrics such as Chase The Ace. I told you the other dimensions are so you can go shave your back now.

jpj 11-20-2004 12:39 PM

Shave my back  I don't believe I've heard that one before.
