eeeee. Am band hunting again. I need to get into a gigging band badly. I mean I have a gig comin up with one band but they're more of a hobby band.

That would be just as immature, I never said it was. To be honest, broadcasting your views about anything is kind of immature unless it is done in a manner which might actually change something, like a protest.

i'm not trying to go with the "only mature smart kids are sXe" thing. i'm just saying that advertising your lifestyle, using or avoiding drugs, is equal, and was trying to tell people not to rag on people over the internet for abstaining, because nobody rags on people over the internet for using.

it's not bad at all, but you must remember that the average person is very stupid. it needs to say exactly what it is, that way people realize that those are the acts preforming.

also since people are generally dumb, it should say doors [B][I]open at[/I][/B] 1:30, instead of just doors 1:30. they may think the doors are preforming at 1:30. that could be a big let down for some. i personally would be pleased if the doors didn't play, but that's just me.

i dont think people are really THAT stupid.

so i went to the pub near my work and got pretty drunk and all my managers from work were there. It was vv awkward. My dept. manager is leaving and his last shift is tomorrow. Last time i'll ever see him and i was drunk lol

so, like, not ONE of my friends that said they would go to my show ended up going. My mom, dad, and brother went, as well as a co-worker of my mom's, plus all the people that the rest of the bandmates brought.

Pretty good gig, first gig was more exciting because our crowd was bigger. Most people left after the first set, leaving us with 8 people actually watching us and another 10 at the bar.

the last gig my band played, the guitarist went around to his coworkers and said "hey do you want to come see my band? here, you owe me $10" and handed them a ticket. they all paid him for it, but like only half of them actually came out to see us.

^^^Those gigs are so stupid and lame.

This was a bar gig, they're guaranteed a crowd anyway.

I know the renown maple has 30 degree bearing edges, where as the Catalina maple has 45. Although having different edges is more a matter of preference than a difference in quality. The renown also has "the Gretsch Silver Sealer inside all drums", although I have no idea what difference that makes to the sound.

A mate of mine had a girlfriend who got hit by a drunk driver. She died in hospital 3 hours after he hit her.
